The model looks good , but the wash seems a bit heavy in places. For taking parts to match a Hot Rod you did very well.

The plates are cool Tom. I think I would have bought two Mercs for that price. Nice truck for parts also.

The HDMI cable is all you need. Have done this next door on a 52 inch TV. There son has MD and we would watch videos on it. -

Ford C-600 Flatbed

Still looks good Casey. If you are having clearance problems out back just add a few strips to the frame .That is what all the farm trucks around here do to make the bed fit. Also the truck drivers might sound in but I think the car needs the engine closer to the front for better balance of the weight ( it is only plastic) . Also the car looks great , nice touch with the backwards body. Maybe that is why it looks so good the way you have it on the truck. -

Great idea, and good luck with keeping them interested. You are right , we did not have the internet back in the day . I had older brothers that would help me, or come to think of it tell me how to do it. LOL the idea of them learning how to put something together is awesome. Most kids have no clue. By giving them all the control, they might stay interested. -
Looks killer.

So yesterday I do not know how warm it was here as I was up in Detroit for the Autorama . I know it was warm some snow melted in the driveway. I woke to the weather guy on the TV saying the rain has stopped and the snow will be falling soon. As I type this it is snowing yet again. Nothing left to do but smile.

Went to the Detroit Auto Rama yesterday. I came home with the 49 Mercury woody wagon , 50 olds custom and two 49 Ford COE cabs from Jimmy Flintstone.

The better Marketing 101 would be to sell the cars at auction and give the money and another car back to the schools. That would be a better Write off also. This a huge shame that the rare cars will be destroyed . If they do not care why do we? Stuff only rolls down hill because it starts at the top, just another example.

Speaking if boats Dave . I was on vacation in Canada fishing. It was a fly in trip. I was driving the boat up a feeder creek . After many times of cleaning the prop of seaweed Bill ( the 65 year old camp clown) was telling me were all the stumps and rocks were at . He was getting tired of the slow speed and kept telling me to go faster . Clear ahead lets go, around a corner and he is waving his arms like crazy at the front , well I turned the tiller the wrong way to wide open. We landed on the top of the rock , the engine wide open with me in the center of the boat and Bill almost out of the front. I shut the engine off and we started to laugh for 5 minutes. This was a 14 foot boat with a 7 hoarse engine stuck on a rock 1 hour from camp . Bill had to get out of the boat to lift the front off the rock while I was in the back .

First off I posted this in the wrong topic ! 20 some years ago I had to make a late Friday afternoon run for work. It was 200 miles round trip from the shop. I was driving an 85 Dodge heavy 3/4 ton truck. I headed out after lunch (not happy about it )but it was my job to deliver the Molds. I had a date so I was a bit heavy on the gas coming home. It was pouring down rain and my dumb butt was passing everyone. Well as I was getting closer to the shop in time to not be late for my date the front and back of the truck decided to swap ends many times at 65 to 70 on the express way . I have no idea how many times it went around, after three times I lost count. Well I backed it into the ditch on the right side ( praise the lord) . No roll over , just took out two reflector poles . Well as I tried to drive up out of the ditch I was a few feet short of making it out. The nicest guy in the world pulled me out , and wound not take money . Man was I shaking like a leaf in a storm. The only thing that happened to the truck was the flat plate for the hitch was bent down a bit. Boy did I have to wash some grass off the side of the truck that night . I never said a word about it .
