  1. Looks great . Stock is a good look for these.
  2. The pioneers of motor sports were the best drivers. They had to have more skill to drive the cars around the track. The cars today have the best engineering money can buy. Back in the day they had only ideas that were not always safe. I am not saying that todays drivers are not skilled , they go faster than most racing has ever gone before. They just have much better equipment. Just think of it this way , the first NASCAR guys were driving cars through the hills and mountains at over 90 MPH with mechanical brakes on skinny tires.
  3. Looks cool. Just needs a Tommy Gun mounted on the hood.
  4. Look great.
  5. Congrats John. I have a good idea what you are going to be doing.
  6. Welcome aboard. You may be the first one to build under water.
  7. Just plain sweet!
  8. RIP Tim. We are going to miss you.
  9. This guy lives in the hills out west or down south. He can adjust the truck so his load of moon shine is level when parked.
  10. Well the time I got thirty it was an average of 55 or 60 in the rain for half of that tank. Driving from Toledo to Nashville.
  11. Ray that Bronco only had a windshield and one seat. It was an in progress build.
  12. Harry I do not know what my 2002 Mustang GT averages but the best I ever got was 30 on the highway one time. It helps to keep it under 85 . When you average over 90 the cops in Kentucky ted to give you a ticket.
  13. Looks nice. Great color .
  14. Your car, your taste, your money. Yes Skip that car was looking sweet with the chrome wheels. That being said. If you are going to drive a car it makes no difference what wheels you put on it. If you are going to show it as a restored car it should have the correct wheels.
  15. Ira this looking great like all your other stuff. Just wondering were you found that spatula for spreading the filler? Please do not tell me you have had this for years. LOL It looks like an old foundry spatula a old friend has.
  16. You are not alone Jim. Most people do not know what to call them . Your looks great.
  17. Ray in 82 or 83, I was at the Super Ford show in Detroit MI. While looking at the nice Thunderbolts all in a row this rumble came up behind us. The ground was shaking as we turned our head to see a early Bronco pull up. It was sitting very low, had a Boss 429 and two huge rear tires. Still in primer but man was that cool. Oh and my Olds Aerotech showed up today.
  18. In the mid 70's that was good money for that car. They did not start bringing more than that until the mid to late 80's.
  19. Looks good so far Bob. If you want to do a coil over shock just wrap wire around the threads of a small bolt. It was in a magazine tip one month, not mine.
