Bill does the VIN give all the options that are on the car or does GM have great records? Are some numbers or code on the VIN cover two different things?

Jeep had two plants when your truck was built . They built your truck in both plants I am told. It was started in the old plant and finished in the Stickney road plant. The CJ5, CJ7 and the XJ were built in the oldest plant.

I thought they were big sellers in the Promo Market. Revell puts out some nice promos of the Vette. I would think that if they are building cars that a mold for a scale car could also be built .

I could have been. they had two plants close to each other. I do not know witch plant made what by the time your XJ was built. It was the longest manufacturing plant still in operation when they closed it down for the new plant a few years back. It stared out as a bicycle plant before Willys purchased it. Mr Willys lived down the street from my brothers current house. I little side note Mr Willys did not drive, so they say around here.

Funny thing the cruisers from the 70's are worth more than the ten speeds of the area . It might be the bike swap meets I have been to but that seems the case. The bike swap meets are coming up fast here. They should have something around you for bike meets and such. Just get it down, clean it up and put a sigh on it while walking around the meet.
