  1. I liked to build the Nickey 73 Nova SS but need the side stripe below. I checked ebay & Slixx but didn't see any listed. Thanks in advance for your help.
  2. It was an incredible display that told a belivable story about the Mercury division. Glad I was part of it. Thanks for the post Tim.
  3. Here's the Monogram 1/8 scale I built a few years before I got the 1:1.
  4. Chevy painted the chassis and most of the suspension semi-gloss black. I would paint the floor boards flat black for contrast. The later C3's had steel floor boards. The earlier one's were fiberglass and a lighter color.
  5. Thanks Jeremy. When we rebuilt the engine in 2018 that took care of all of the leaks that dirty up an engine compartment. Now I just wipe it down to keep the dust off of it.

  11. Thanks Rex. I think I took 951. I hope they find a location too. There is some interest from the Speedway Museum in Lincoln Nebraska.

  13. It's the 60 AMT Ford Chassis & floorpan. I did have to flaten the rear foot wells to clear the exhaust.
  14. Here are some pics of my Bill Stroppe Mercury Stock Car.
  15. Thanks Petter. Yes I should have made the title more fitting. The goal is to find the tool like the example above so my friend that has Parkison's can easily bend the wire hinges.
  16. Here is the Cults 3d link to what I am looking for. Cults 3d wire bender
  17. Here is a link to the 3d printed wire hinge bender. Cults 3d Hinge Bender File
  18. I think the trick is to get the sides bent slightly to get started. It does require a "well" but the blades are not straight tthe whole length that needs to be bent.
  19. Thanks guys but I am loking for the wire bending tool that you can use for doors, trunk, hood. I found them on 3d Cults but that is just the file not the actual tool.
  20. I have seen some 3d prnted hinge bending tools. Anybody have a link as to where to get them? Thanks in adance for your help.
