  1. Well ended up having to slice and dice this front end to make it look right. Will have to work on the wheel arches, but it looks much better to me. Thanks Before After Drivers Side Passenger side
  2. Well I tried to fix this twisted body using warm water to twist back into shape. But with no luck, but it did crack in several places so I had to get out the saw and start hacking, hopefully I can safe this. Will post pictures of progress asap. Wish me luck
  3. And a few more. Another 50 Chevy 60 Chevy
  4. Are we voting or showing, oh well here are a couple of mine. 40 Ford. 50 Chevy.
  5. wow this is turning out nice. excellent work. I like your idea using hot wheels tires for the wheelie bars.
  6. This is another build for one of my grandchildren. My oldest daughter wanted me to build her daughter an Impala that she could put up on her shelf for years to come. She said just build it out of the box and she would be happy, but I could not leave well enough alone. Revell 94 impala SS converted to a 2 door. I moved the back glass forward approx. 1/2 inch or so moved front door post back, removed small quarter glass, added a hood blister and molded in a rear spoiler ,and this is what it looked like. Again could not leave well enough alone. Did not like the way the top of model looked, kinda reminds me of a bubble. So I had to cut the top down and it seems to look better. Also added some plastic to the bumpers.
  7. Oh I forgot to mention that this model is going to my youngest daughters baby that has not been born yet, I dont know if it will be a girl or a boy. She aked me if I was going to build a model for her baby and I thought I would surprise her with this build. I do have two grandchildren from my oldest daughter and I have built model for them and with them.
  8. Thanks to everyone that has commented on this build,I really appreaciate it.
  9. This is coming along nice. Keep up the great work
  10. This is one I am building for my grandchild. It will be a curbside build. I took an old chevelle that I built years ago and chopped off the top, next I grafted in the top of a new camaro, this allows the use of the camaro interior also. I used the chassis of the camaro, but I had to add material so it would fit the chevelle wheel base. Wheels and tires are also from the camaro kit. I will be building one of these for myself in the near future , but it will be a detailed build. So to put it all in perspective: Cost of Camaro kit $10 Cost of Chevelle kit: I dont remember Smile on granchilds face: PRICELESS.
  11. This thing is bad to the bone. Its all in the details.
  12. looks good, never thought about putting a roof on this, but it fits it well. It definitely has a resemblance to the original.
  13. great start on this, I can't keep up with you. You build things quick, I am still look at your 49 you just finished. You gotta have glue in your blood. All kidding aside I am inpressed with all your builds, from your scratch building skills, the paint jobs and to the amount of details that you put into each and every build. Keep up the great work.
  14. This looking great, you got some great scratch building skills, keep up the good work. Kinda reminds me of this corvair drawing.
  15. Well I dont have alot to update. I been working on the 68 Banshee and the mid engine corvette, but now they are complete time to get back to this build. Was looking at the body today and I see that the body has warped, when it is on the frame and on all fours you can not tell it, but sitting the body down on its own, man it looks bad. Dont know whether to fix it or just make the best of it. What do you think.

  19. I think I will a little different than everyone and says it real just for the fun of it. Who knows at least I have a 50-50 chance of being right, not bad odds if you ask me.
  20. Wow I might have to hire me a photographer, but it would be interesting to see my work in the mag.
