Alright finally got some paint on this thing. Paint is Tamiya Mica Silver with Tamiya gloss clear top coat. I still need to buff out paint in a few days, but I am just glad to have it painted. What do you think.

Got the chassis painted and worked on the exhaust. Had to shorten the exhaust to fit the modified chassis.

Not much done but I did get to do some work to the rear bumper. Bumper was looking to plain so I added some rear heat diffusers and the c-5 corvette script off of the rear bumper.Also added some bracing to the chassis

Well it looks like it might be a little longer on the paint for this one, while I was preparing to paint the model it took a dive off my workbench. both doors have damage that I need fix (broke plastic hinges off doors and cracked one on the outside), the body came out of it without a scratch. Thank God. At this time I have replaced the plastic hinges with brass ones and begun repairs to the doors should be ready to paint soon.

Wow Its been awhile since I made any progress on this. But just to let you know I am preping the body for paint and should be painted soon.

Its been awhile since I had any updates on this, just to let you know I have finished all body mods and doing the final prep. Hopefully I can get it painted within the next few days. Wish me luck.

ok did some work to the intake manifold and carbs. Added more tubing to the cross ram to make it higher (bottom of carbs where hitting valve covers). Added some details to carbs such as gas inlets and vacuum ports.Also modified the brass tubed intake with a different mounting flanges for the carbs. Now which intake do I use? Decisions, Decisions.

Update on motor hope you like it.I changed the engine up a little I made a scratch built intake manifold out plastic tubing and filled in between tubes with pieces of thin plastic. As said before I used down draft carbs instead of side drafts (my bad), so I modified the down drafts to look a little like side drafts (hopefully). I still need to shape the flanges a bit and do some final sanding to complete it. But what do you think.? Comments welcomed good or bad

Made a litle progress, been working on the chassis and engine.Made some brake rotor. I used some old parts box disc brakes,shaved off the caliper and added plastic to make it wider. Also made front and rear springs out of wire coiled around some tubing for size.Had to make new trailing arms cause I lost one of the originals,they are not exact but they will do.

Looks good, I like the way you did the quater glass it opens up the interior. All the mods look great.You could pass this off as Mercury cougar concept the way the rear tail lights are.Your brother would be proud. You always do great work. Keep it up.

I found some different spotlights,someone had suggested that the old ones looked to tall. What do you think. Old New
