  3. Hey guys I finished this one and will post pictures in the Under Glass section.
  4. Finally got this painted. I hope you like this color, I wanted to paint it a color that was out of the normal so I found this color. It is testors one coat laquer Bronze. Never tried this paint before but it is very user friendly, goes on smooth. I did wet sand a polish this car to make the metallic pop!. For those of you who wanted to see a bright yellow or orange on this build let me just say this color looks great in person. Plus it matches the carbon fiber decals that I used. Again comments are always welcomed.
  5. Well lets see the pictures of your cuda.
  6. Thanks for the comments. I was kinda looking at colors similar to this early build of mind. I thougt it might make it look a little more classy. But the stealthy look might work.
  7. Thanks David
  8. As always David, excellent work. Your brother would be proud.
  9. very nice.
  10. Well here is a final mock up before paint. I still dont know exactly what color I want. There are a few colors that I was thinking. Bright yellow, Atomic orange, burgandy mettallic, or Black mettallic. What do you guys think?
  11. Well I did not finished this as planned this weekend, but did manage to get something done on it. Chassis is now 99% complete just need to touch up some paint (hopefully thats all). The air ducts will be added after the body is mounted to the frame. If you look close you can see fuel lines have been added, also made a wiring harness and ran some vacuum lines, and ran cooling lines to the transmission cooler and the oil cooler.. As always comments are welcomed.
  12. Thanks again Dominik. I appreciate the kind words about this build.
  13. Thats what I was thinking. Excellent build.
  14. nice to see work like this, great build
  15. Thanks for your comment. Niether cars are resin. Both the Banshee and Olds F-88 were scratch built using different cars to create them. The Banshee was made from a 68 Corvette and a 63 cougar ll and using various parts from a 66 GTO (if you search in the workbench section you can find the WIP on this) and the F-88 was made from a 53 corvette (from the doors back) and a 57 corvette (front clip) using parts from a 66 old cutlass. Both use alot of scratch built parts. Thanks for looking
  16. Thanks
  17. this is different, but I like it.
  18. looking good , kinda reminds me of the old ghost rider vette by MPC.
  19. As always great start on this build.
  20. like the looks of this one. especially that frame you built. Isnt this one of your all time favorite kits Dr.
  21. Thanks for the comment.
  22. Made a engine cover out of sheet plastic, added inner structure to cover (forgot to take a picture). Cover will have clear plastic window attached from the underside. Also made a heat diffuser (vent) out of an old hood scoop. Cut back window to allow for vent. Will have to shape back glass for a better fit, and I will also have to shape the vent.
  23. very nice
  24. Very cool wagon, great detail on the engine.
  25. Looks great.
