  1. There has been a big wave I've noticed in the cartoon style pool. It got me thinking of these things my dads aunt gave me when I was younger. Does anyone remember nutty mads ? They are solid vinyl .... I think that's what it is any way. Does Anyone know how long they ran or how many were in the series?
  2. Ditto , I have a badger 175 that's sold by snap on, and I'm willing to bet your snap on guy knows as much about air brushes as the one I got mine from. Nice guy, but there is a reason he sells hammers and not art supplies on a daily bassis. Hope you get her going !!!
  3. Check this out, http://www.coastairbrush.com/badger105parts.asp If you want to see how it goes together.
  4. Have you taken it apart yet? I wasn't to say the air portion works just like a shrader valve, with an o ring seal. The rubber may be coming loose and causing the valve to not open or blocking the air flow.
  5. You'll probly never see many cars with the trim purposefully painted the same color as the car. I would say, trim it out to look like chrome, what ever and how ever your skills allow, or take it off. May I suggest trying your hand at a silver sharpy and some making tape. Just another method. Try it on some spare parts first of coarse
  6. Sweet deal, now they won't look at me like I'm stupid when I ask about it now !!!
  7. SSHHHH....now everyone knows.. A friend sells stuff there, got me hooked, got an AMT viper promo for 5 bucks !!!
  8. Not so much kits, but I bought a 1/32 slotcar set on eBay,... Then said where will I ever set this thing up... Haven't looked at it since..
  9. Does a 6 speed auto stick count ??? I've never like the tree style shifters much myself, My 58 ford has a three speed on the tree.
  10. Brake parts, or what ever is suposed to go behind the wheels.
  11. Non of that's going to work for what your building Greg, go ahead and send it on over......
  12. Most of the stuff I have is acrylic laquer, so I would say you need to cut it with a lacquer thinner.
  13. I had heard that Edison killed an elephant with DC current to show how " dangerous " it was . Anyone else?
  14. Funny how close brilliant and insane run the same line, didn't he want to marry one of his pigeons ?
  15. Sounds like a great community build ! Maybe even a good issue for October ??? Greg ?? I would do a lot more for a lot less, my wife is an oncology nurse. It is a very common thing that should have more then 4 weeks a year of awareness !!
  16. I can honestly say the best part about this thread is the awesome examples people have come up with !!!!
  17. Thanks Chuck, I was thinking they were 350s, but just read on another thread that it was a big block. I have a Camaro, but I could swear it was a 350. May have to actualy open it and look now..lol
  18. I'm building an R/C boat that will resemble a superstock flat bottom. They run 427s in all kinds of configurations. Would anyone have any engine parts laying around they would part with. I'm looking to use the top half of the block with the heads and cover/headers. and probly make some kind of tunnel ram intake. I'm looking for left over kit parts, hate to spend the big bucks on a real nice aftermarket set and hack it up. If I had to look for kits, what kits would I want to find?
  19. Camaro, big bad muscle car. 454 Vette, mean, fast modern street car. LS1
  20. Dang Ira, I wish I would have known about that contest. Maybe next year. I've got a silly surfer I've been wanting to do something with.
  21. Nice!! I stand corrected, I wasn't aware of that in plastic. Looked like a rocker set up in the pic Cool deal. I can't wait to see it together.
  22. I can't believe there are two pages of people defending them selves for liking this style of MODEL " come up with something less trite then slump busting" ? Really?
