Round 2 double kit "Dragula"
moparmagiclives replied to moparmagiclives's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Thanks guys !! I got the lamps painted and mounted, I like them a lot more this way, then chrome plated or gold. Seem to blend in better, not so bulky. I'm thinking about painting this piece from "the mummy" to look like an old cobble stone road, little display base for it. -
High rise manifolds

The long runners of the tunnel were used with the camshaft to tune the power and at a higher rpm, an ECM and injectors can that now. But even as far as carbs go, they didn't make that big of a difference over one and a good single plane after a wile. -

My favorite impala !!! Gota love those 63s. I'm really liking you handle trick. I would have to go nose up my self. Nothing like riding with the rear dumped and the springs bouncing.

I have not my self, but if you do a search on the forum for "back to the future" or "Delorian" I believe someone used similar products on those. Seem to remember it looking very good and pretty scale as far as the finish, not shiny toy like at all -

I dont see why you cant make any engine fit and look right at home, That is a chevy engine replica. looks to be similar to the "ram jet" injetion system. Should make for a pretty nice street rod -
What makes it so much better ? Is it because it's a better casting? That would be the manufacture right? Not the material? And even once it's cast and ready, was it not assembled by people? Or is it the fact that it's the five thousandth one just like it built that makes it of higher quality? It's a neat model, not my style but neat. I think those pocher kits you've talked about turn out better then that one.

Great builds Dr., Where did the slingshot decal on the doors of the green one come from? -
I've been on the Hastings in my town for a few months now. the smaller book store said they are not interested in such titles. They do not carry the "other" mags also, so I dont think they would be. I've talked to the local independent hobby /RC store in town a few times. If you would like to pm me some contact info, I would gladly pass it on to him. Might be a good place to move 20 or so a month.

Orange Peel on real cars?
moparmagiclives replied to '08SEAL's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I wonder what they are using to reduce them at an industrail grade like the manufacturing/ auto body level. Maybe it gives off an ammonia gas type of situation ???
