Really? You would be suprized how many yuppys have complained about it. And how many who have them, have never had them in 5 or 6th gear. Look at them on line for sale, hard pressed to find one with more then 20k on the clock. Tells me they weren't bought to be driven lol I would love to get my hands on a first gen flip nose. They really aren't that expencive as far as sports cars go. But I know what your saying, I sure wouldn't care what it sounded like. Can't hear it over the screaming anyway hahaaa (evil laugh)

This has been in the works longer then fiat. Butvim sure they through more then two cents in on the project. Chrysler has been European sence the 90s. I'm exited because they are going to bring back viper training. I'm also glad to see its going to use the new power net com system. The only reason I bring that up, is that for once the viper will be available with a better stereo then a base model neon.... Or caliber now. That part was always funny to me. Just didn't quite feel like a super car with those old RER decks in the dash.

They already have some astranomical amount of accessories for it ready to launch. sounds like they are really going to push this thing.

Car related, "On a clear day you can see General Motors" Is pretty interesting. I never knew much about John Delorian untill I read that book. Its also interesting because it was written before he was "famous" for his own doings.

It's a general motors color, don't recall the name, but I think it's just called " champagne " ?? Any rate, I wanted more of a brass, antique color more then a "gold". And then lots of black wash, it really made the casting POP !!!I Once it was cleared, it has a little platinum pearl to it. Adds to the antique look I think. Thanks guys !

Wait a minute, I read the book about him killing vampires.... I don't remember any assassination.. but really, "Abraham Lincoln the vampire hunter" is good. It's pretty cleaver how his life was mixed into the fantasy life... Came across almost too... Real to not be..(insert scare music) I would recommend the "hunger games" as well. I'm not very political, or military but it's also well done... For fiction anyway.

I thought about the drag link, but figured it would look to out of place compared to the rest of the kit front end, and then where do you stop. I've got another one of these, I may get a little more detailed with it. I like the open cockpit idea. I picked up a haulin hurse I'm thinking of building with the next one as a race car/ tow rig. Not really related to the tv show. Probly lots of blacks and reds.

I've been working on this for a little wile now, had some time to wrap it up this weekend. I didnt care for the kit plastic tires and front wheels, so out came the parts box slicks and I grabbed the front spokes from a testors T-Bucket. I wired the engine ( cant really see it now ) and made some seat belts. Paint is from a GM touch up can. Thanks for looking. Thanks again to Jacen (futerbat) for the new Tombstone.

Is the body the only thing clear? you should make friends with someone who can cast with clear resin. Axles and engine block would be cool to see too

I dont quite agree with that. The 289/302 are a little to narrow as it is in most kits, I dont think they would pass very well as the wider 351

Not from the factory, but when doing something such a blower, yes. better clearence and a better spark under load if I remember hearing correctly. I'm still willing to bet those are not where the plugs would hook up. But good job on the swap either way. looks good !!!

Can I ask why you would clone a car, with different wheels and a v8 ? Why not just call it a v8 regal? I'm a Monti man myself, but cuttys and regals have a good look too !!

Thanks for sharing. I have no problem with flat paints. It's the unfinished bare metal, rusty stuff that I don't care for. But that's been Beaton to death already. Thanks again for sharing. Not a lot of thy stiff over here anymore. (shows that is)

The small rc store here in town is a traxxas dealer, so that played pretty heavy on my choice of brand. There is a lot out there but I can get pretty much anything I need and help right here in town, that's worth quite a bit to me. Find what available to you locally first, then shop those brands. They all have some great choices.

That's pretty much wraps it up. Where do you stop with the "missing parts". What good is it to add stuff if it doesn't look right anyway? These are all representations of the real thing. Let the mind fill in the rest. It's kinda funny how the mind will reject something that's wrong a lot faster then it will recognize something is missing. I can look at a model with out plug wires and know they would be there in a 1:1 situation. Adding those items is great for someone to practice their own skill and patience, but I don't think it make the model represent the real thing any better.

Isnt that a "Magneto" ??? Thats why it looks a little goofy if thats what your were looking to change.
