Spyder and Fly's and a slant in pink.... Over the top coolness.

All are dressed to the 9's. Very nice indeed Sir.
-
Well done all. The Nova is very nice, the wheels are something Ive not seen before.
-
That is indeed good to know. I have not truly actively looked for a BB. There was a complete on eBay for 400.00 which was more than I was willing to pay. Eventually I will pony up for what I need to get one done.

What a beauitiful collection. I would certainly be proud.
-
Now that is a class anyone can be proud of. You have my TOP grail ( Bug Bomb, my first ever model) , and Li'l Herbie of which I never new even existed. The Ranchero is a stunner and the vintage Zingers are a perfect nightcap. What a year you had brother Bob.

I am sure Nader would find something wrong with it. I however, cannot. Great conversion -
Why couldnt have been someone we had no use for? Gymkhana and all his vids are some of the most entertaining to ever be put out. Pure talent.

Superb build and your collection looks a lot like my own.
-
Both are exceptional and congrats on your feature.

So it's like that eh? What an exceptional build. Underneath passes for 1:1 easily. You know your subject and it shows.
-
16 eh? Amazing when I think about where I was skills wise. You are far ahead of where I was. Of course that was 1979.
-
Outstanding group. You seem to have picked the right color for every build without fail.

Nice assortment, like a box of chocolates. No scale snobbery here folks.

Go for it my friend and build another. It has been said building a kit a second or even third time is when you really get the result you always wanted. I will say this. The windshield tested my patience. You get a slab of acetate and an incorrect size guide on the instruction manual. Drilling a hole in the windshield I just cut for the rear view mirror was a trip and a first for me. And I still have to either paint the Ford script on the bed or find a decal. My decal stash has let me down.

I just finished up a grail of mine in this "The Rodfather". I remember this kit on the hobby shelves when I was a kid and liked the look of it. Decades later I saw a picture of the box and remembered it from my youth. I want to thank Bob (TooOld) for the mint original decal sheet. I sprayed it with a couple of coats of the now discontinued Testors decal spray and it spent a couple of days in the sun. Main kit is a Revell Tweedy Pie II. Testors Arctic blue metallic enamel on the shell and Duplicolor semi white on the rest. Parts box Firestone rear tires and the fronts and rims from the Revell 66 Chevelle. Aluminum intake tubes and lavender plug wires. A little flocking and Voila! Thanks to Bob for helping me make a grail for my shelf. Now if I can just find some room...

A tough kit to get right and you got it soooo right.

All are seriously nice, but the white tri 5 is killin it..

All great builds brother. A good year by any metric.

Thanks to all who commented. I must make a confession though. The World War Toons tank in the pic with the Schwinn is an old build. I did build A WWT tank but that one was given to my brother Rick. This one needs to go to him as well. I give him all my Deals Wheels and WWT builds for his collection. This one slipped through the cracks.
