  1. Thanks.. I find them fascinating little trucks with big power and great stamces. The stance this truck has is oob with no mods and it sits perfectly. It has great attitude. I have a couple more and based on the way this came out Ill be building them soon. I have the white sections shot and once I lay down the green Ill post pics. It should be a bad little mamma jamma.
  2. Your build looks excellent. I have one 7/8ths done and I left the track alone. It is a bit wide but it does look pretty cool. Time to break it out and finish it. Thanks for the inspiration.
  3. Looks great from where I sit Dave.
  4. That's a convincing ride right there. Not a thing wrong with a phantom digger with a Ford 9 in it. I can smell the fuel from here.
  5. Really outstanding Tim. Ive built a couple of Vandal's over the years and Id say that is the motor. The paint scheme is creative to boot. That built up has been around for quite some time.
  6. Looking outstandong brother. Persistenseois def the key. Stay at it and bring it on home.
  7. Since I am not finished it's a WIP. Chassis is complete and all I did was add plug wires. The decals are iffy but I should be able to pull it off. I just shot the primer so in the AM it gets the white. By afternoon or perhaps late day I may be able to mask and shoot the green. These AMT truck kits are very nice although the instructions can be vague and I am by no means an expert on these trucks. But it went together without a hitch. I have the black GM Service kit and may make a banked dio with a wall to put them both on. Would be nice to have driver figures though.
  8. I subscribe to his channel and this popped up. He says he is not an engine guy so built that part OOB. The rest is so clean you could operate on it.
  9. Killer build Jonathan. So clean. I have this kit and always eyeball it. One day I will get to it. Your build will serve as inspiration for certain.
  10. These are all seriously well done. Very deft paint work.
  11. These Tamiya bike kits are such joys to build and they always look like the real deal. You crushed it bro.
  12. Not sure how I missed this one Bob. As usual you crushed it. Like others have said, you have an eye for design and color. Your models alway exhibit that thing that puts them over the top. This is no exception.
  13. You will be glad you did. They are the finest paints I use.
  14. As a guitarist and frustrated drummer Peart is my all time drum hero as well. I had the pleasure of seeing them starting in their earliest years and followed them to the tragic end. Your tribute is touching.
  15. Well executed and convincing.
  16. I have always wanted this kit but it can be pricey. I think tje decal sheet is an absolute hoot. Well done Bob...
  17. Just watched an HPI video and he highlighted www.rayskits.com/decals As comprehensive a decal line as I have ever seen. You like Rep Stock? This is a treasure trove.
  18. That is one gussied up snapper. Well played....
  19. None.... It has taken a back seat to quite a few other things. But it is time to wrap it up. Sometime soon. Thanks for looking in.
  20. Really killer build brother turtle.
  21. Sorry to hear that. Do your best is all anyone can ask.
  22. I did Joe... Hope yours was good as well. Say Hi over on SPAM for me. Ill get back there soon.
  23. They are a bit plain Ill admit. Perhaps at some point Ill add something as they need some pizazz...
  24. Number 3 of my Silly Surfers set is done. The surfboards are drying and I was heading out so I snapped these without them. No big deal, just two janky boards. The heart of it is the truck and driver. Vallejo acrylics as usual.
