  1. This looks great and the wear and tear is looking good. This is one of those they really should dust off but I imagine it's costly to produce. Keep on, the finish line is within sight.
  2. This is a Horus Heresey Primarch from Forge World for Warhammer 40K. Konrad Curze was a despot and ravenous killer who ruled with an iron fist. He sided with Horus against the Emperor of Mankind and was eventually killed for his troubles. Feared like almost no other Primarch since he would go out nights to hunt and slaughter all who came in his path. These resin pieces from Forgeworld are exceedingly expensive but build into great miniatures that are played with Horus Heresey Codex. I play Warhammer a bit but prefer Orcs for their savagery as a group. These pieces are played with more sophistication than I am willing to invest but I love painting them. This will go up for sale on eBay at some point. Many hours and a few brain cells were sacrificed to the altar of this Primarch. Enjoy.
  3. THAT looks like a lot of work. It paid off, well done.
  4. Got my end of a trade with Modlbldr . And it is perfect. His end is on the way.
  5. Nice finish. Flaps down and all.
  6. Very cool! Are you new to Vallejo acrylics or an old hat? Making the switch from enamels can be an issue for some car builders who are used to old ways. Nicely weathered.
  7. I'm in the Bill camp. If it looks right it is right. We have a great camera and storage unit in our heads. We can see if things are out of place in a split second. I usually laugh up my sleeve at overly large ignition wiring as it looks like, something is terribly wrong. Even aftermarket wire can be a tad big. I've found a brand i like and stick with it. I dug into may used and clapped out electronics for the wire inside and am well stocked. take an alternator for example. That wire is tiny in scale and it needs to be just right and that's where that electronics wire comes in handy. As the late great Eddie VanHalen said: "If it sounds good, it is good."
  8. That looks great Wayne.
  9. That would be Canned Heat in 1971. My dad was a soundman during those days and he would take me to gigs all the time. i think the first was this Canned Heat gig. i was only 7 at the time but on the ball and listened to my dad. I don't remember the show but there are a few pix in my Mums collection of me "helping" dad. The best part of being his "helper" was being in charge of the VW van. When I was there no one could be in or around the van without my OK.
  10. Man! This could pass for 1:1
  11. Nice touch with the BOC album. Well done brother.
  12. Outstanding detail and weathering.
  13. https://www.spotmodel.com/product_info.php?products_id=53136&language=en&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=mail&utm_campaign=442 At 364.80 US it is not for the faint of heart, or wallet.
  14. The Ricky Smith car doesn't have those wheels in it. Hopefully you have them already. If not, I can help.
  15. THAT is one sweet build. Well done Sir!
  16. Looks tidy [pun intended]. I have a few that yellowed like that and they drive me bonkers. I've considered respraying them. Well built cars and I would be proud of them
  17. It certainly was NOT my intention to cause a ruckus about this film. It is not worth getting the thread locked, and while myself and others are against such filth it is best left where it belongs. In the gutter. Rant off
  18. This film doesn't need a "chance". It needs to be removed PERIOD.
  19. I cancelled Netflix after a recent movie just went too far. If any of you care about right and wrong you'd be with me. I suggest you look into it.
  20. Beautiful replica. I have ONE MFH kit in my stash, the Harley Davidson 1940 FL. It sits mocking me and one day I'll get after it. This is definitely inspiring.
  21. I have this and the Tamiya in my stash and was eyeballing them a few days ago. It came out nice and I expect now that I've seen one done I'll just work on something else as my curiosity has now been sated. Shame about the real car though. Not terribly successful.
  22. Very well done here. Nice detailing and finishes.
  23. I've been thinking of getting a couple of these. This seals the deal. That looks great.
  24. That is terrific!
