  1. Wow, you dont play.. Every choice is a winner. And Im not much of a green guy either.
  2. That's one sinister looking Monte right there. Right out of some horror movie. Well done.
  3. This is the kit that started it all for me. My Dad owned a leather and "head" shop and next door was a hobby shop. One day he brought me in there and said I could pick out whatever I wanted. I saw this box art and it came home with me. Ive never been the same since.
  4. I love lacquer paint. Laid it down yesterday and today you could drive a nail with it. I cannot say enough nice things about the engineering of this kit. Almost Tamiya like. I think my choice of white was a good call here. The kit decals laid down smoothly and reacted to solution well. A littlIe detail painting of the dash and I really have something here.
  5. Thanks fellas. This kit is a dream to assemble and very well engineered. There was half of me that saw that blue and instantly thought chipped paint and rust. The other half reached for thw 3M compound to start polishing it. I do like my color choices and they are period-ish. Once the white cures and I can decal the interior pieces Ill mock it up but really it is in the home stretch.
  6. As usual you will crush this Joe. Looks to me like you are off and running and it looks great.
  7. Cop Out was among some of the first glue kits I ever built. I have fond memories so Ill probably end up buying this one. Some nice bright red is called for here. And some new tires from the parts box. Maybe a better engine. Im pretty sure I have a few 90s funny cars that can donate an engine.
  8. Now that I'm back building vehicles now and then I went through old 1/2 builts and new kits to see what was what. I pulled this one out thinking I would do a full WIP on it. Curses, foiled again! It seems I already had it going. I left a note when I packed it and all I wrote was "white interior". So that is what I did. Shot the seat, door cards and dash in semi white. The grey decals should look bitchin. Chassis is stock I just changed a few colors. Paint is I believe Testors Turquoise. It is darker than the photo since I used a flash. After a buff and a few decals Ill call it done.
  9. That is vicious. Very well done in every aspect.
  10. Why in the world is that? It is either messy or scary. I'M going w scary
  11. Man! That is nice! Well done brother...
  12. Aways liked this livery. You did an amazing job with the decals. No bleed and nice and bright.
  13. This car came out great from where I' m sitting. Yes the front is a tad wide. Yes the attachment points are iffy. But it looks like despite all that you crushed it anyway. I have one 90% done but I am fresh out of BMF. It was challenging but where else does this exist?
  14. Built this during down time while painting Warhammer and resin figures. Challenging kit to say the least. PE harness added but the rest is OOB.
  15. What's behind me eh? Too big to get into one shot. The shelf is 2 high, 6 feet long. And there is a 2 high 3 footer on the other wall Im not showing. Plus kits on the floor. You get the idea.It gets tight in here.
  16. I imagine the IROC Z can't be far behind. These were only ever issued once.
  17. Just looked over the site. Lots of cool pieces but I gotya have those Ghostbuster figures. Too cool and if the guys here say yer alright thats good enough for me.
  18. I cannot believe they "dusted" this mold off yet again. Ill wager they've recoupped their money a looooong time ago.
  19. Yeah, it may be overly shiny. I based this build off the restored car, which ironically enough is what they used to engineer this kit. So technically.............
  20. Big Heavy Metal magazine collector here so this one holds a special place for me Very well done Sir..
  21. Outstanding wood painting.
  22. Im not sure anyrhing I do will help you. You seem to have your build well in hand.
  23. Not a "Vette" guy but that first side shot made me gasp a bit. Very well done and a save worthy of the effort
