MY FAVORITE FUNNY CAR: CAR SHOP INC CAMARO
Dragline replied to DavidChampagne's topic in Drag Racing
Pretty car and well done replica. -
What non-auto model did you get today?
Dragline replied to chunkypeanutbutter's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Never too late to learn. I've only been doing it for two years and have made good strides. Granted, it takes an investment in paints, washes and all that. I guess it's a matter of want. -

Got these today. I won't get to them for some time since I am moving but they are going to be fun when I do. -
NOCO SCALE AUTO - RIP YOU WILL BE MISSED
Dragline replied to luciomduran's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I offered condolences in the Youtube video. he was an excellent builder. -
Took my 2000 Cavalier out for it's first drive in quite a while. Not a big deal right? Well it is today as the new supercharger has breathed new life into the little bugger! Nearly snapped my neck with the throttle response. I knew it was going to be a bit quicker but this result has me tickled. I see a disk brake conversion for the rear in the near future as those drums just ain't making it. I went looking for Imports but couldn't find any takers. It's still pretty mild at idle and part throttle, but goose it and it just flips out. Best $1,100.00 I ever spent.

Many don't know that so it's not a biggie. It did aggravate him for a while at first when it was initially released. At this point in his life he could care less, but there was a time....

Just wanted you guys to know that Mr Healey's name is spelled wrong. It is Healey not Healy. Since he is a friend of mine and pointed it out when I was building one for him. Get two sets or a steady hand and add the "E".

Hobby lobby and tamiya primer
Dragline replied to fivesuns's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I have switched to Mr Hobby. I still love Tamiya acrylics but Mr Hobby is outstanding. -
Sorry for not posting a link.

Atlantis is very exciting. I just listened to an interview and they have got it together for certain. Made In America is a big deal for them as it should be to all of us.

The Ugliest Corvette Ever?

There is an old saying "An idiot and their JC Whitney catalog SHOULD soon be parted." -
Sounds like a Kittie to me. Enjoy her for as long as you are blessed to have her then.

Big fan of Chick. Jazz fusion owes a debt to him. A great loss to Jazz and music.

What a beautiful cat. Geez... Is it good natured?
-
Same is true for Chunk. She did not like to be picked up at all. What an odd trait to be attached to a type of Kitties. Oh, and Jazzy is a beautiful Kitties BTW. Just stunning.

Talking with Chunk while cooking up a steak. https://youtu.be/7fRYJb-itvc

Sounds absolutely lovable. How lucky you are to have such devotion in your life... I am about to move into a new house and I think it is time for a Kittie. I'm thinking a British shorthair or perhaps a Munchkin. I am in love with both types. I still miss my Chunk every day.

Thank You Josh. All the Kitties here are beautiful and those that have them know it is not ownership so much as a partnership. Cats cannot be owned. They simply don't allow it. They will stay with you if you keep them fed and loved however. Eventually they end up owning you.

This is Chunk. Chunk is/was a Tortishell or Torti as they are called. I lost her in 2018 due to fleas and her being an advanced age [16]. She fetched, came when called. Was an absolute hoot and talked a blue streak. She was wise beyond hers or anyone else's years and was as lovable as they get. She slept with me most nights and was a great girlfriend foil. If she liked you then it was good. If not, then you got the boot. Helen is my love and she is the only woman to have ever passed Chunk's test. Chunk was loyal to a fault and was easily the best mouser on the east coast. She was originally my mothers kittie but circumstances and all that. She is on Youtube for her antics but I wanted to shine a light on here here. She is greatly missed and she lives in internment on a hill overlooking a meadow of such wonder that I am jealous she is dead and living there. It's that nice. I buried her myself as tears streamed down my face and am forever grateful to have known her. You would have been too. Her Tortitude can be seen on full display in this close up pic. I miss her daily.

I'm looking into this. I have their 1/20 McLaren MP4/4 complete kit and it is second to none. I am thinking if I am to build such things I may as well start them sooner than later. Between these and my MFH EL Harley I have enough for at least 4 years of highly detailed model building and everything thing in my stable will get passed on to others. I'm that serious about these projects i have planned. Thanks for the update.
