  1. This is such a beautiful build. Truly a great stock ride, and those wheel covers are a must have.
  2. Hey Hey, the gangs all here....
  3. Il be watching thisl resurrections are always a favorite.
  4. Hey! Those look vaguely familiar......
  5. That is nice to say and I thank you. To say it has been 5 years since I worked on this seems laughable but there it is. I am feeling enthusiastic about getting back to it so allbI need to do is sit down with it tonight and assess where I am. I looked at the thread and into the box so I am pretty certain where I am. Time to break out some sandpaper and go for ot.
  6. I didnt realize you lived so close. No one lives IN Boston. What town? Im in New Bedford
  7. For such an ambitious project you have it up on 4 real quick Roger. This is a very inspired idea and you are pulling it off like there is an instruction sheet you arent showing us.
  8. One trip to the spare room and 15 spiders and a curiously placed bottle of bourbon later and I found her. The Ferrari F430 will go into mothballs while the clear coat dries so why not see where I am at with this old chestnut. I recall finding a box for it. This Tamiya Sherman tank. A project long done and in a diorama at a friends house. But this box was perfect. It looks to me like I spent some time carefully packing it away.
  9. Probably the coolest Baron Ive evr seen. Hands down...
  10. Beautiul machine. Stunningly built.
  11. Nice color combo. Well built.
  12. This is the kit with the white car on the box. Man that is one of the nicest builds Ive seen. Superbly clean.
  13. Just looked at your work David. I have to say its looking great. I started a thread a long time ago on one of these. Ill have to revisit it. But until then I get to live vicariously through you within this WIP.
  14. THe FINEST model I have ever seen in my paltry 57 years. Bravo Sir....
  15. The chassis and interior are pretty much done. Wheels are waiting on drying rotors and calipers. Going with the kit supplied chrome wheels for a bit of bling. A few carbon accent decals and Ill be able to lay down a few clear coats. Testors Extreme lacquer dries in only a week so Ill have it all wrapped up at that point. I have a few more of these and may break another one out. They make nice contrasts to the more intense builds I saddle myself with at times.
  16. Thanks... The decal sheet is great as I said, and it makes a difference when it came to the dash. Rosso Dino eh? I just thought the tangerine would be a great color for an exotic.
  17. I am pretty far along on this one but a WIP seems OK. Testors Tangerine enamel with a dark grey interior. These kits are quite simple affairs with the emphasis placed on outward appearence mostly. Engines are simple as well with only about 6 or 7 main components. Detail painting is key but they do look good through the bonnet and I guess that was the goal. Excellent decal sheets with gauges and outer carbon parts well represented. Suspension is practically non existent. The plastic on these is so soft even looking at it sideways makes a mark. If you get one beware. It will make a nice shelf model when completed.
  18. Truly digging this build Brutal. You are pulling out all the stops at every point and the details have a "just right" appearance everywhere I look. That color is going to be striking as well.
  19. For my money those two Revell funny cars that snuck up on me were the ones. That "one use only" Chi Town car and Hawaiian have to be some of the best funny cars I have ever had the pleasure to put paint and glue to.
  20. Ive watched a few of your videos on YT. You never dissapoint. Well done indeed.
  21. World class build. I saw this video in my YT feed and had yet to watch it. Ill make some time.
  22. I clicked this not knowing what to expect. So that is how Zuul from Ghostbusters is spelled. 3D printing is such a wonderful thing. Im looking at a couple of Elgoo models. The possibilities and the files that are FREE are astounding. Awesome doggie...
  23. Thats a beauty. Id love a look at that big block Chevy... Is it me or is everyone getting seriously great around here?
  24. These are two very nicely detailed builds with excellent craftsmanship. HP would be proud without doubt.
  25. Dude, that is seriously tight. The level of craftsmanship here and in other threads is really at an all time high. I chose the right time to return
