    "Proportions" & 3D Vision - Absolutely are "part and parcel" and are intrinsically involved in creating a conceptual form imagined in one's own mind. That's why they say, "Seeing is believing!"

    Here are couple of basic rules in cutting up and joining/merging plastic/resin model car bodies: Measure thrice & cut once leaving material to be filed/sanded to shape/size... Cut lines: to leave the line or take the line... that is the question. When cutting, is the line to be removed or left, initially; the angle of the cut may also play a part in slicing up parts... When joining cut parts, edges should be clean and smooth... some joints are flat butt joints and others are beveled or slightly overlapped... Fishplates: using a backing material to strengthen a joint/splice sometimes is necessary... a piece of note paper soaked in CA glue, or a thin piece of sheet plastic used to bridge the seam secured with liquid bonding cement, could/should be used at the builder's discretion... With practice, most seams can be finished with very little bondo/filler putty and finish sanding... -KK

    '32 Ford Chauffeur Driven Town Sedan came about while picking parts for the: Found a bunch of late '20s thru early'30s town cars on the interweb: and only one 1932 Ford Town Car that was found after the initial cutting and trial mockups were completed. Concept Mockup @Dennis Lacy's Ed Fluck '32 Ford Chopped 4Dr Sedan resin body mounted on the AMT '34 Ford Pickup fenders & running gear... and the Revell '32 Ford Highboy roadster body... Enough cutting... let's see how the rest of the pieces fit together: '32 Ford Chauffeur Driven Town Sedan rough cut mockup! Kits involved include parts from: AMT 1928 Lincoln Sport Touring AMT 1932 Chrysler Roadster AMT 1932 Ford Phaeton '32 Ford Phantom Vickie Revell/Monogram '32 Ford Highboy Revell '32 Ford Sedan Street Rod AMT '34 Ford Pickup R&MCoMD Rat Rod Tires & Wire Wheels 2 B continued! -KK

    I too will be working on a pair of deuce sedans! One will be based on the @Dennis LacyDrag City chopped 4dr body and the second starting with my R&M of MD chopped 2dr body. Where's my Sawzall? -KK

    AMT 2532 1932 FORD SEDAN & 1940 WILLYS COUPE DOUBLE KIT AMT 21896P Switchers 1932 Ford Sedan-Phaeton 1/25 Scale Plastic Model Kit Jim, you are correct! In addition, there were a couple other offerings of the Deuce Sedan. I might have been a bit more specific regarding my earlier comment, by qualifying my statement as being a "Revell" offering being the Orange Crate. -KK

    Golly Miss Molly! Holy Moly might have to play along, too! The Revell Deuce Sedan is not an easy subject by any means! Before Revell offered the Deuce Sedan the only other model out there was the Orange Crate! A conversation with Norm Verber over at Replicas and Miniature of Maryland lead me to create a master from the Revell kit for a chopped Tudor Sedan body that would fit the '32 Ford Three Window Coupe kit: This is how it set mocked up back in 2015: ...and it hasn't been touched since! Might be a fair place to start?!. Several years ago, RRR had a very close friend that did some painting for us, and he started a deuce sedan build and never got to finish it. (Sad story... I'll let @Rocking Rodney Rat share it) Anyway, RRR sent me the already chopped sedan body: This was 2013 and a year later the Gangster was completed:
