@Speedpro found the Model Car Garage 2040 1-25 1934 Ford Grille & Resin Surround Photo Etched Detail on-line and figured it had to be incorporated into the '33 3W... Then before the grille insert was set in place, Paul polished it with SIMICHROME! -KK

WOW! Way kool, Brother! When I saw this debuted in Salt Lake at the GSL XXVIII I knew there was going to be several builders that wanted to know more about this amazing '29 A Roadster! Then seeing you surrounded by six or eight top modelers asking question after question, I knew you had made your presents known! Your style and execution are spot on and only gets better with every new model you build! Your eye for what it takes to finish your projects, as if they are the real thing, can only come from your years of experience building and restoring 1:1 museum automobilia. Waldo, we've talked about this project so many times and watching you take the steps to achieve your plan is almost as enjoyable as building it myself! Hours staring at the molded kit parts and what changes need to be done in a most determined order is all part of what it takes to build a street-able one-to-one version, but in scale! What you are doing is amazing, and the result will be a reflection of what could be a real-life Super Nova! -KK

With over 70K views and 700+ comments, this has to be one of the longest running group-build threads here on the forum! I want to applaud @Dennis Lacy for starting the 1929-ford-pickup-80s-contemporary-street-rod-a-tim-boyd-tribute thread and the model builders that made this topic such a major success! With the inspiration that @tim boyd has provided over the lifetime of my model building career, and that of so many other model builders as well as 1:1 car guys & gals... this has to be one of the most rewarding modeling efforts that I can recall in the last 4 decades! Just think, 8ight years ago the '33 3W Koupe was started... a couple 3hree years ago it made its way down south to @Rocking Rodney Rat, who immediately returned it not wanting to buy into the half-finished project. Back on my bench, work continued... then @Speedpro felt moved to pick it up to bring it closer to the finish line! My great appreciation for the endeavor and tremendous effort that has brought it to this point! Waiting to get it back on my bench, once again and get it under glass will be an end to an amazing journey, in itself. -KK
