James Texan Scott came to the rescue with a replacement inner wire rim for the '32 Ford Chauffeured Driven Town Sedan: So, with a little tweaking the Side Mount Spare Tire is coming together: Here's the working copy: As you may recall, the '34 Continental kit does not call for a tire: Note above: real spare tire in the cover!

Decided to use the Monogram PC72-198 1934 Ford Continental Kit as the Side Mount Spare on the '32 Ford Chauffeur Driven Town Sedan. From the very limited Monogram PC72-198 1934 Ford parts box on-hand, the continental ring and the inner & outer wire rim parts from the kit were set aside... upon review & test assembly the inner wire rim (part #M16) is broken beyond even microsurgery and needs to be replaced. -KK

HELP! As noted in previous posts in this thread, the decision has been made to go with the Replicas and Miniature of Maryland Rat Rod Wires & Tyres as the rolling stock on the '32 Ford Chauffeured Driven Town Sedan: These are re-pops of the original Monogram ’34 Ford Coupe-Cabriolet kit: In an early mockup of the '32 Ford Chauffeur Driven Town Sedan: The side mount spare tire is shown with the Monogram PC72-198 1934 Ford: A closer look at the original two-piece Monogram 1934 Ford wire wheel (back & front), the back was found to be un-repairable: The Monogram PC72-198 1934 Ford kit offers an optional continental kit: Notice: No Spare Tire & Part #M16 '32 Ford Chauffeur Driven Town Sedan with the Monogram PC72-198 1934 Ford Continental Kit: Notice a problem with the '32 Ford Chauffeur Driven Town Sedan Continental Kit? The original two-piece Monogram 1934 Ford wire wheel, the back was found to be un-repairable: Before I get in touch with Norm at Replicas and Miniature of Maryland, the thought of checking with U'all... btw rumor has it he will be at the ACME NNL this year! The original Monogram ’34 Ford Coupe-Cabriolet kit inner wire rim (part #M16) is broken. There's a very slight chance, that if even repaired with microsurgery the structural integrity has been compromised and needs replacing. Any assistance in locating and acquiring this one piece would be greatly appreciated. -KK

@Rocking Rodney Rat sent me a set of Replicas and Miniature of Maryland Vintage Wire Wheels w/BIG&LITTLE Tires for the '32 Ford Chauffeured Driven Town Sedan: After careful consideration, the decision had to be made in favor of the Replicas and Miniature of Maryland Rat Rod Tires & Wire Wheels: The early mockup of the '32 Ford Chauffeured Driven Town Sedan showed that the size of the BIG&LITTLE Tires really made the difference... -KK

Decided the rear seat needed a retro look, so the AMT 1932 Ford Phaeton provided the rolled & pleated bench rear seat: Out with the new & in with the old -KK

Decided the rear seat needed a retro look: AMT 1932 Ford Phaeton provided the rolled & pleated bench rear seat... To make the change... the sedan rear seat had to be removed: Seems to fit... Before the change the seat sat too high: After the change... the retro rear seat seems to fit a bit better" A little filling to hide the old pleats & the old replaces the new! -KK
