  8. i have seen it. it was mastered off the old school willys pickup. if your thinkin the revell willys coupe, i dont know if that'll fit. it was never tried when the master was done

  10. heres the decal sheet
  11. im a basement dweller and i like it...
  12. i have three pots. one is a sears tank. had it for over 10 years, had to replace the seal once. the other two are both general pnumatics, one is from harbor frieght. its not the best, wont go higher than 30psi without leaking. but it gets the job done. the black one i got from a bud. not sure where he bought it , but it works great and is coated with teflon. makes it a lot easier to remove resin splatters.
  13. lotta really great info being shared. bout the only thing i can add is i get my sticks at the dolla store. 100 fer a buck. for resin cups i use puddin snak cups. theyre sometimes 4 fer a buck, and my dog likes the puddin. as far as using silicone as a release agent, it takes some work getting the stuff off te part youve cast. also. if you spray it anywhere near where you paint, it gets all over everything causing fisheyes.
  14. ive been casting for the better part of the last 20 yrs and im still keeping a low profile. not by choice mind you..... . the surest way to get notoriety in the casting biz is to put out a substandard product/service. unfortunately, its not the kind of notice you want. take it slow, learn the ropes then build on experience.
  15. i can barly play the radio, but my 20 yr old son just started a band. i was very skeptical, but after seeing them on stage i was impressed.
  16. you gonna do videos? man, hope you can moonwalk...or maybe your going in a more duran duran direction?....
  17. you can get it in resin from missing link, with new and vastly improved decals. or you can opt for the 68 coupe in resin from motor city resin casters..

  19. gotta decal guy already on both decal sets..
  20. hey, i know the guy who does alot of thier masters and casting... good stuff.
  21. as i am very, how shall we say..frugal. cheap. scotch... i try to price my kits at what i would feel comfortable if i were buying it. that said, theres a ton of work in this thing. im charging 70.00 plus 7.50 s&H. i know this gets into the cringing territory, but i gotta. but you are getting a complete kit. heck, theres even cnc work involved in this critter. as far as how fast it'll go..i had a 1;1 of this jeep. it was fairly quick. but being that top heavy with an 80" wb..it was quite a white knunckle ride.
  22. here it is in all its glory.. 50 pieces..
