  1. i have the glass.. if it comes down to it, the left front wheel opening on a 65 a body is the same arch as the right rear on a wagon..just a lil weld here, a bit of sheetmetal there..and viola! new 1/4 panel.. but i need to get er running first, body works ways down the list. plus, they used that same 1/4 on 63-66 valiant and dart wags.. pricy part will be shipping the 1/4 from out west...
  2. yep. shes ruff, but theres not as much rust as ya think. she was a cali girl till a the late 90s. she was cheap, and i have history with a 63 val wag. my granddad died when i was 15. me and two of my uncles drove my granddads 63 wagon back to detroit from arkansas. they wanted to give me the wagon, but what did a 15 yr old kid want with a 13 yr old 6 cyl wagon when there were hemi road runners in da 'hood. now i have a second chance at doing my granddad proud.plus..guess whats gonna happen as soon as all the snow melts and i can drag her out of the garage? tapemeasure anyone????

  11. 2x.3x...4x...who knew styrene dust had so many calories!
  12. the casting materials cost is the same no matter what.thats a fixed expense. what adds extra cost is when the caster has to do the mastering.its mostly a time investment. more time mastering, less time casting. hense, the call for ya'll to step up with masters.
  13. black is all i wear..i'll take a roomy 3x..
  14. turn this around a bit and look at it from a casters perspective. what ya got thats castable? keep in mind, it would need to be something that others would buy and not just a one off project. there may not be enought of a market for a 1898 widgetmobile. plus, the master has to be of the highest quality and craftsmanship. if your going to ask a caster to cast your master, dont be upset if its not up to the casters standards.you must have a thick skin if your going to build masters. most casters wont cast something that looks sorta like what it represents. (although...)so, if you have something that you think may be of castable quality post some pics. theres enough casters on this board that a match may just happen.
