  4. id love to cast some aussie cars. trouble is, there too hard to get masters built. i cant find the 1;1's here to get measurments off of. any of our oz friends that feel like doing masters, let me know. by the way..id really really like a sandman!......
  5. if you guys only knew all the hoops kevin has jumpped tru to bring this kit out. from finding an aar kit, to stripping said built kit, to repairing, finding missing parts, to fabbing up a few parts...the list goes on. buy this kit with confidence..you wont be disappointed.
  6. seen a few scale parts done with this technology. the ones i saw were really nice, but had a slightly pebbly surface to them. but im sure the way these kinds of things evolve, it will get better and cheaper
  7. years ago i had my three best builds on display in the local hobby shop. stopped by one day and the owner told me that somebody had stole several models out of his display case. he said" cant imagine how they got em. i keep that case locked" i was standing next to said case. i reached over and slid the door open. he had put the lock on the wrong side of the door. had to have been kids that took em, they left several body panels to one car behind. i imagine they tossed the cars out into traffic, if they had cared about the cars they would have taken everything.
  8. the main reason you dont see more of these resin kits is the amount of time it takes to make the master. what with doing all the research then actually mastering the model, its a huge undertaking.ive done two wagons, the 72 torino being the more involved of the two. and it took over a year to get done. many casters are always on the lookout for master builders. if anybody feels up to the task, i'll be willing to concider casting more wagons and 4 drs. keep in mind the masters have to be the quality that your fellow modelers demand. and rightly so, these things aint cheap.
  9. i cast the 72 torino wagon and a 67 fury I wagon. an d i also cast a 41 plymouth 4 dr. more are in the works.

  12. special treatment? i just bought a new weedwacker, hauled 4 bags of charcoal into the garage for the smoked turkey that ive been chasing all over town to get supplies..then i'll spend 8 hrs tomorrow tending a hot smoker in 95 degree weather..your right! that is my idea of a great weekend!
