Got a package into the mail today from Whale392 (Brad). He picked me up a sealed Lindberg 66 Chevelle (that makes two for me) and a set of the Pegasus 4 bars and a set of the Astro Supremes. Thanks Brad. Later-

OK. Not sure if this CBP is still active but here is what my build will be. I've had an idea for quite some time to build a 41 Chevy pickup as a low rider. I had envisioned it in shades of blue. Here is the kit. I had a spare 60 Impala built up that I had picked up somewhere. The previous owner had a "colorful" personality. I thought of using the front suspension. I tore it apart and cut out the frame. I am opening up the grilles on the side of the hood. This is going to take a bit of work. You probably can't see it in this photo but I cut out the grille and am putting styrene pieces in that are 4/10 of an inch with a slight bend at 2 and a half 10ths, which will eventually make a row of fins. I can't explain it better but it will explain itself when I'm done. Later-

Those taillights will look good in the this. I forgot that the J had a small fin already in the rear fender. It makes your job much easier. Mine will have to be built up in the 51 Fleetline. Later-

Looking killer. I love these Starliners when they are done like this. Can't wait to see it with the wheels. Later-

I think I just found how I want to build mine. Love the color and the redlines. Later- -
Just reread the first part of the magazine article on the 1:1 and it has a Mustang II front with rack and pinion and a 6 1/2 inch kick up in the rear frame. So, I'm on the right track. Later-

Thanks guys. I may go with just a bit of z'ing the frame. After looking at it it really doesn't need to come down too much. Perhaps half the depth of the frame. Oh, I forgot to include it but I had replaced the front suspension parts with the parts from a Super Stallion Mustang. A bit more modern than I was looking for but it had the parts I wanted. Later-

Got it up on wheels for a preliminary look. I don't like it. It sits too high. Back to the drawing board. Later-

That's a beauty. Later-

I'd like to join this build but my plans are to do a 41 Chevy pickup. Is that cool? Unfortunately I also have two builds going already that I NEED to concentrate on, but I have been wanting to get started on this 41 for a long time. Let me know. Later-

Yeah, I've wanted to build it for some time but I have too many projects to finish first. I may have to start it soon anyway. I do like the colors you did on this one. You may have said it before but what color is the blue? I was thinking of doing mine in black with red or orange wheels. Later-

Nice looking build. I see that you are now building the Tom's Supra and having fun with the decals. Have you built the Sard Supra yet? I have that one and have been a little Leary about building it. Later-

Looks cool. I'd like to see.some better, close up photos of how you extended the rear fenders for the taillights. I've got to do this on my 51 Fleetline and I am looking for ideas. BTW- I started rebuilding one of these with a removable hardtop. I should drag it back out soon. Later-

I like the wheels and the stance. Looks like a nice little ride. Later-

Anne- I think the dash looks fantastic. Remember, we are usually our own worst critics. If you aren't very happy with it you can set it aside for now and work on a different part of the kit. This way it gives you a bit of time to think about other ways to redo it, hide it, or whatever. Either way, your doing a great job. Just don't do like most of us morons and put it back in the box, put it back on the shelf and forget about it until you begin drawing SS. You'll never get any completed that way. Trust me. It's coming along great. Later-

Man, I remember building that when I was in grade school. I wouldn't mind trying it again soon. Later-

I talked to a retired electrician friend of mine today and I couldn't begin to explain what he said he figures the problem is. Hr is coming over some time this week to look at it. Later-

Nice color combo. What plans do you have for the rest of the build? Later-

That light blue hardtop is gorgeous! I say build yours just like it. That would be a contest winner. Later-

Here is what I do know, which if you ask anybody, is nothing. First, I live in an old house with most of the wiring done within the last 30-40 years by who knows who. I have a panel box outside mounted on the side of my house that has a breaker that shuts off the entire garage. It also has breakers for about half of my house. I have one mounted inside the garage for everything inside the garage. Everything in my garage worked normally until about 3-4 months ago. I didn't change anything before then with the exception of me wiring a heater to my model room about 3 years ago. One day, 3-4 months ago about half of my sockets quit working. I found one breaker in the panel in the garage was tripped, when I reset it it sparked and smoked!! I turned off the power to the garage at the panel on the house and looked at the bad breaker. Not being an electrician, the only thing I knew to do was replace the breaker. When I powered it back up it tripped again without the smoke and spark (it was progress). Yesterday I decided to use my saw it will not come on, but the lights will. I just went and checked a couple of things. 1. My lights won't work from the light switch. 2. Saw won't turn on from the power button on the saw. 3. Lights still come on and off from the saw power button. 4. The breaker to the lights is on 5. The breakers for the saw(two 30 amp) are on. I have an extra panel on the shelf in my garage. I am about to power everything down and have an electrician start over. Later-

I found this NEW problem in my shop today. <a href=http://s486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/Modlbldr/?action=view¤t=VID_20130504_192706.mp4 target=_blank><img src=http://static.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/Modlbldr/VID_20130504_192706.mp4 border=0 alt=></a> Later-

One of five loads. Now I'm in the garage clearing things out to make room for the exercise equipment that has been stored for almost six years. The fun never stops here. Later-
