No, it's more of a "neatness envy". I have a ton of the old small Testors bottles that were beginning to overrun my bench a while back. I had some strips of J metal that I had brought home from an old roofing project. The bottles fit just perfectly inside of it. So I cut two pieces down to about 4 feet and mounted them to the wall above my bench. Now most of my bottles are alphabetized on the wall above my bench. Later-

I love that Vette kit. I have the roadster version and would love to get the hardtop too. Later-

Ant Welcome to the forum! Looks good so far. You are off to a good start. I completely understand about not finishing a build due to customizing. I have builds still in progress that I started almost 25 years ago! It can be a bad habit but it's hard not to get excited about starting a new build when an idea hits. That 65 Impala is a favorite of mine. I'll keep an eye on your build. Later-

Now that is some perfect weathering. Got any tips on how to use the oil paints to get results like that? Just look at the detail in the center of the front wheel. It's perfect. How do you thin the paint and to what consistency? Later-

Mike I look forward to watching you build this. I always love looking at your WIPs. If for no other reason than to see your bench top and all of your paints lined up. Lol. Later-

Dan I can't wait to see what you do with this. Like most people the 63-67 Vette are my favorite. I have a few of them to build so I'll keep an eye on your progress. Later-

I'm liking the work you've done so far. The weathering has a good look to it. Keep it up. Later-

I love the work you've done and especially like the color. The only thing I don't like are the wheels. They look too stock to me. With the Veilside body kit on it the wheels just look like they were never upgraded. Nice work on the build though. Later-

It looks extremely nice in silver and black. You did a great job on it. I've got a 67 waiting to be built. I'm another who would love to see a new tool 67 or 68 Camaro come out. Later-

Thanks CH. This build will be similar to the Voodoo Creeper but I have some changes of my own planned (not to mention that the VC is a sedan and this is a Fleetline) I'm thinking of calling this one the Boulevard Creeper. I still need to extend the rear fenders a bit on this but I need to wait until I order my 56 Packard taillights. I don't want to have to do work twice. Later-

I like it very much! Are you planning on doing any weathering to the body or will it be shiny? I'm sure it will look great either way. Instead of using the kit hinge pins you may think about doing some in brass rod to stiffen them up. Otherwise the doors may sag. Later-

Got a bit more of the little, yet important, stuff done this weekend. I managed to clean up the edges between the hood/fenders and the body. I had to glue some styrene strips in yo close up the gaps a bit. I removed the windshield and rear window trim and replaced with .040 half round and sanded off the door handles and beltline trim. I will replace the trim with more .040 half round. I also filled in and reshaped the rear side windows and filed off the drip rail and filled in the top of the door frame. Lastly, I removed the stone guards in preparation for some custom fender skirts. That's it for this weekend. As I said, a lot of work on this one this weekend, but not much to show for it. I will hit this soon with a coat of primer to see where I'm at. Comments welcomed. Later-

Many nice looking Studes here. Dan- I do believe it was me who sent you those parts. I know I sent them to someone. Glad I could help you out and that it got finished. Yes, I do need to finish mine. The problem I am having is figuring out how and where to cut the rear axle set up on the Vette to get it narrow enough to fut the rear tires under the body. I'll get back to it soon enough. Later-

Here is mine. I started it back in '99 with a then new Vette. Shortened body about 1/2 inch behind the doors, reshaped door openings, Porsche headlight buckets, sectioned front pan, rolled rear pan, custom engine bay, windshield frame from a 53 Ford Convertible, Vette interior and chassis/suspension. I put it aside when I hit MAJOR modifications on the rear suspension. /IMG_20130406_204526.jpg Later-

Kevin Love the paint color. What is it? The black wash on the grille looks good. In all honesty that is a tough grille to wash because the grille is so fine. Most won't be that difficult to do. Keep after it. Later-

Geoff Looking great so far and I am liking the color choices too. I have a few of those Enthusiast Porsche kits to build but I don't have this one. I'd love to get it. I'm watching and taking notes. Later-

You may have paid dearly for it but it looks worth it. A beautiful build. Later-

Beautifully simplistic build. A perfect example of less being more. Can't wait to see the color on it. Later-

That is looking great, Brett. I like the choice of seats. They fill out the interior well and they have a rounded profile that fits well with the roundness of the car. I wish that I had some cash, I would swap you some 19 inch Phat Daddys for your 23 inch fronts. I'm sure I have a pair of them here. I have one recommendation. I would add a bit of strip plastic to the front of the rear fender wells to fill them out a bit and make them follow the curvature of the rest tires a bit. I never liked how thin the front of the rear fenders were on the Willys. Looking great though and keep it up. I'll be following this one. Later-

Pearl white would be an excellent choice for the bird. Looking forward to it. I have the American Graffitti issue of this kit. I am using the seat as a custom seat for my 50 Ford. Later-

Those look very nice. I always liked those kits. Great paint work on them. Later-

Gotta love the rods in this video

The pickup is Jimmy Shine's build, if I'm not mistaken. It makes sense since I saw a photo on the web last night of Gibbons, Shine and a third guy standing in front of it. Later- -
