  1. Sorry, I must have forgotten to post the next photos. Make more sense now?? I'm such an idiot sometimes. Must be all the glue fumes. Later-
  2. Very nice job on your 61. Beautiful colors. Later-
  3. I found these fenders in the bottom of a LARGE box of parts I got from a friend and thought they would be good for a build. So I dug out more spare parts from the same box and here is what I have after about 30 minutes. Now to find the rest of it and come up with a plan. Possibly the grille from something like the Testors Coupster kits. I'm thinking a heavily modified show truck. What do you see? Give me some ideas. Later-
  4. I spotted this at one of those "Come to Your Town Car Lots". You know the type that move into a vacant lot in town for a few weeks to a couple of months to sell cars and then are gone. The windshield flyer says it is a 2011 Camaro. http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/Modlbldr/IMAG0173-1.jpg http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/Modlbldr/IMAG0173.jpg http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/Modlbldr/IMAG0174-1.jpg They had it parked next to a black Camaro for comparison. Too bad it was never a production car. Later-
  5. Thanks guys for the kind words. I am thinking of a dark maroon similar to the magazine car. I've been working on the suspension for a while now and it still isn't low enough. More work on it tonight. I also need to do some work on my euro rebuilds. Later-
  6. Just posting a few pics of my chop job on my 40 Ford. I am wanting to get your opinion on how it looks. I am planning on a hardtop. Here's what I am using for inspiration. Comments welcomed. Later-
  7. Simply beautiful work! I am amazed. Later-
  8. Nice job on the Mustang. I love the color. As far as the glue goes I'd say that the tip is plugged or your glue is old an dried up completely. Take the top off and see if there is fresh glue in the bottle. If there is then your tip is plugged with dried glue. You may need to get a new tip or a new bottle of glue. Too, you might want to add liquid cement and CA glue to your arsenal. Later-
  9. No. It is a play on words. More dollars than sense (cents). Later-
  10. Neat build. Definitely something you won't see twice. I have a question. Years ago (20), I built a Russian kit of a tank that I got at a club kit swap. The instructions were a copy of hand drawings and the plastic was very hard and difficult to sand. Was this kit the same way? Later-
  11. I thought the old adage was more dollars than sense? Later-
  12. Nice looking job on an ugly truck! Style definitely went out the window on these things. My First Sargeant. had one when I was in the Air Force. Great work on it. Later-
  13. I'm liking the progress so far. I'll be watching. Later-
  14. I love the way this one turned out. I'm glad that you went with the street version. Nice job. Later-
  15. I picked these four old crustys up from an older friend if mine who built these back in the 60's. Not sure what route I'll take with them. The good thing is that they don't have a lit of glue. He also has an original 65 Coronet 500 that he built back in the day as a replica of his new car. Later-
  16. That thing is looking good. I've wanted one of this kit for quite a while. Your build thread is making me think more that I DO need it. Later-
  17. That is too cool! Great idea. Later-
  18. Nice ideas and work so far. I'll be watching. Later-
  19. Nice work so far, Larry. What all body mods did you do? I have a 55 that I modified just about every panel. Still need to finish it someday. Later-
  20. Nice looking build. It's good to see that your first kitbash turned out so well. On a side note- I just happened to see an old XRTI yesterday on the highway. Not something you see everyday but sure recognizable with that tail. Great job and great color. Later-
  21. Very cool! It reminds me of.a Hot Wheels car. Nice job. Later-
  22. Nice haul, KingSix. Those 53 Fords are nice kits. I'd love to get more of them. Later-
