Dr. Cranky- I am sure you'll like it. It is ALL eye candy and none of the fluff. Later-

This is going to be a beautiful build. Your work is so clean and precise. It looks better than the real thing. Nice to see it in a color other than red and black. What color did you use on your seats? Later-

This past week my buddy gave me a few parts. I have spent most of my free time for the past three days sorting through it all. Lots of great useful parts. There are a couple 69 Charger bodies and parts, many 57 Chrysler frames and a couple bodies, an almost complete unstarted Roth 56 Ford pickup, a lot of 40 Ford parts and bodies, many 29 Ford parts and parts, parts and more parts. I thought the same- with the exception of some issues that will have a couple great articles. But this mag is exceptional, IMO. The guy at the shop has a selection of quite a few issues of Rolls and Pleats. I'm on my way to pick up another tonight and am planning on getting one of each that he has, as I can. Later-

I found this mag at a local shop and I am very impressed with it. The title is Rolls and Pleats. It is the size of the old little pages mags. I don't know much about the history of it but it has just what I like. It is all photos of the cars and none of the tattoos and artwork etc that dominates most of the other mags. I'm alright with some of that , but I buy a car mag for cars. The guy at the store says that they are not very regular in circulation and I went on their website (WWW.rollsandpleats.com) and they are pretty expensive. So I will probably stick with buying them at his shop. Check them out. Great mag. Later-

I've never had this issue. I usually warm it by running it under the tap or stick the can job a pan of preheated water. Besides, everyone knows the best way to warm them is in the microwave...... Seriously though, when I worked for the railroad I was hostling one day when a consist of engines were dropped off on our fueling rack. They were left for a couple of hours or so before I got up in the third engine to find that the road brakeman had left a can of chili on the sidewall heater. There was chili EVERYWHERE!! What a mess. Wow, Kevin. Those are both looking very good. Nice work on the paint. Later-

Doyushi 1969 BlueBird (Warning! DOH in Progress.)

Looks like a great little build. Good to see it getting finished. I would think that the grille guard would look better narrowed about an 1/8 inch. Later- -
I received some Pegasus Beemer wheels (along with a couple other sets) from "customsrus". Thank you! I painted them with red anodizing paint. I will add some chrome buttons in the center for caps and aluminum rings once the paint dries. I have been making clear lenses for the lights out of plastic from packaging containers. My buddy told me that he found more parts to this kit that I will be picking up tonight. Should be able to get some progress done this weekend. Later-

This is beautiful! I love the color and the stance with those wheels. Where did you come up with the air cleaner? Great job so far. Later- -
Oh yeah!! That looks great. Later-

I like the work you've done to get the suspension where it needs to be. I am having the same difficulty with a 65 Mustang that I am putting the chassis from a 97 Mustang Cobra under. I got it back out the other night and think I figured it out once I took a fresh look at it. It is hard to believe that it has been a year on this one. Keep at it. It is such a great body design you have come up with. I'm sure it will look good in the end. Later-

Tom- That is some fantastic work you are doing. It is always difficult to do this much modification to a kit, but when it comes out looking this nice it is worth it. I have a 62 Bel Air that I did the same to and it was a blast. Keep up the good work and posting photos. Later-

I will be getting at least a couple of these. I don't know yet but I may have to start with this body instead of the 55 that I have put a ton of work into to build the 56 Windsor. Later-

James- I'm not big on 69 Novas. I like them, but I think.they are too average. However, I LOVE this one and would proudly own it of it were 1:1. Very nice job. Later-

This is the AMT 63 1/2 Galaxie kit. It is an oldie but goody. I've got one started from about 20 years ago. I still have the top masked off for the Aluma Coupe yellow with white top paint job that I started back then.Every time I pull it out I hope that the tape will come off without difficulty. Then I put it back in the box. If I were you I would get rid of the pipes. They don't fit and look like an afterthought. Other than that, I like it and it makes me want to drag mine back out. Who knows, keep an eye out. Later-

It's good to have you back on this. I missed it the first time around. Your progress is looking great. I understand about life getting in the way. Every Spring I tell myself that I'm going to bust out the air brush and get some painting done. Before I know it we are coming into winter and I still haven't gotten any.done. I have this same kit that I picked up from someone and it has the rear cargo area MIA. I'll have to scratchbuild a new one. Later- -
Nice build of a cool movie car. I saw that for the first time at the drive-in. In Mom and Dad's Oldsmobile convertible. Later-

I like it very much. I think that the chrome strips on the fenders are a nice touch and the strip at the bottom of the fenderwell would benefit from thinning the back a bit, but it suits the car well. Nice job all around. Later-

I picked up another painted body from my friend last night. This time an RX-7. Too bad I couldn't get a better photo of the paintjob. It really shines. It is HOK Sunburst yellow with a flip- flop blue to green over it. I will probably wait to work on this one until after I finish my 50 Ford. Later-

That is simply a beautiful job you are doing on the BRZ. I can't wait to see it completed. Later-

That did not come out right. I would load the 2X4's in the trunk, through the rear seat and rest them on the dash to be able to get the trunk closed. That makes it sound smarter doesn't it? Before it sounded like they slid up through the back seat and came to rest on the dash-----maybe I should just stop while I'm behind.Lol Later-
