  1. Dave- It's great to hear that you have not given up! Keep after it and the skills will come back. And, who knows, you may learn a NEW trick or two. A friend of mine had a stroke about 6 years ago and he made a good recovery of the use of his left hand by shuffling cards. We would go to his house to play cards with him and his wife and we would not let him pass when it was his turn to shuffle. We just waited patiently for him to finish. The Dr. told him that it was one thing that helped to speed up his recovery. Good to see your progress on the build. Have you decided on a body yet? You should have decals made that name the car "Physical Therapy". Later-
  2. My favorite year of Galaxie. Nice paint job. I like the roof. Later-
  3. Jared- I'm still keeping an eye on this one for ideas for my Bronco. It's looking good. Where did you get the O-rings and do you have a size or part # on them? They are the best looking thing I've seen so far to replicate airbags. Got to find me a few dozen of them. Later-
  4. Looking good so far. I love that paint color. I say go with the steelies and caps. It isn't done as often (or enough). Later-
  5. Nice work on this one, Jon. The paint is a good color and looks nice and smooth. I've got two of these (one is the Landy version) and a 69 waiting in line to build. I want to do one up in "as delivered" style with the black fiberglass front clip and white body and one in full drag. Later-
  6. That IS a beautiful design restyle. As it has already been said, you made it look stock. So much so that nothing seems out of place. I'm with Foxer. I'd love to see more photos of this build. Beautiful work. Later-
  7. That is a great looking build. The color and wheels make the car. I never realized that they styled that year of T-Bird after Jimmy Durante! Later-
  8. That is an outstanding rebuild of that kit. You did a great job. And the photos are the best I've seen so far. Nicely done. Later-
  9. I agree. Those front fenders look much better now. Good to see. Later-
  10. Cranky- This is all fantastic and very realistic. I love the work that you do and I am still waiting to try it. One question. What ModelHaus tire and wheel numbers are those on the blue truck with the webbing? Those are perfect for this style of truck. Later-
  11. Wow! What a highly detailed, precise build. Everything is perfect. Can't wait to see it finished. What brands and colors of paints did you use on the interior? That is exactly how I would like the interior of my Nissan 300Z to look. Very clean. Later-
  12. Wow! That looks great. Nice paint job. What mods did you do? Later-
  13. You don't see many of these customized, but I think that you are on the right track. This should look killer. BTW- I vote for the 5 spokes with the locate ring removed and low pro tires. Next would be the 7 spoke R type wheels. Later-
  14. I like everything with the exception of the cycle front fenders. I think that they might look better if you switch sides with them (I think that they are on backwards), angle them a little so that the brackets don't hit the tie rod, and then bob the front just a bit. I really like the cut down 50 Ford grille. It gives it that tractor grille look. BTW- you were right about the Fairlane wheel wells. That Fairlane front clip was a neat idea though. I think that it would have worked with some wheel well modification. Later-
  15. I almost passed this posting by because it is not a subject that I am in to. Man, am I glad I didn't. Fantastic workmanship. It looks flawless. Later-
  16. Decklan- I just came across your build. Good to see that those parts I sent are going to good use. I like the plan you've got and it looks like you're off to a great start. I'll be watching to see how it turns out. Keep up the good work. Later-
  17. His work looks very impressive. I'd like to see some close ups of the rest of those builds. Very nice, and creative, indeed. Later-
  18. Well, congratulations! Keep the momentum going. I just (finally) got instructions to my old BSA Lightning Rocket kit for the old 66 kit. I can't wait to break into it. Later-
  19. Very nice build and paint job. I agree with Peter. The blue looks great and is an excellent choice for any Vette. I'm still waiting to build a 67 in Marina Blue. Later-
  20. Beautiful work you've done there. I love the paint combo and the rims look realistic. Keep it up. Later-
  21. I really like the work you did on the drop. It has just the right look. One thing I noticed from the first photo (and I'm sure that it is just because it was mocked up)is that the body line isn't lined up with the line on the bed. I like the bed wood and weathering too. What kit is the IFS parts from? Later-
  22. Jairus- Like you I haven't checked in here in a while. I see you found the 61 Impala wagon drawing. I do like that one and may have to build it soon. I've still got to get all of my others finished first. I'll be back. Later-
  23. Wow! What a beautiful color. Is that over a gray primer? it's gonna look good. Later-
  24. That looks good. Two questions? Does it have a "Necker Knob" on the steering wheel and where did you get the wheel covers? Later-
  25. Well, it may be in the wrong section but I like it. How did you ever come up with a combo like that? I can't wait to see more. Later-
