  1. Both are excellent builds. I really like the wheels on them both. Nice paint work too. Just perfect. Later-
  2. Nice looking buch. My vote is for the 50 Ford. I'm still plugging along on my 50 Ford Sedan. After I finish off this beer I'm shutting down the 'puter and going to the model room with a fresh one and do some work on the interior. Can't wait to see what's in store for next year. Later-
  3. Thanks for the tip on the Citadel washes. I've thought about buying these paints before but was unsure of how well they would work. They definitely have a wide selection of colors. The work on your Dart is looking fantastic. Makes me want to break into my stash of 68's and 69's. I'll have to pick up some of that ScaleFinishes paint. Jameston is a great guy to deal with. He and I did some trading a while back before I got my airbrush. Now I'm ready for him. Later-
  4. Marc- I'll be watching this build. I LOVE the 68 GTO, and in the Verdoro Green?? Even better! Later-
  5. Thanks for all of the info guys. Jairus- That website is cool. The ones they show on the first page HK06 is what I'm looking for in resin. Does anyone know a resin caster who makes them? Any resin caster want to try???? I'd buy a couple of sets. Any help locating a resin version?? Later-

    62 Belair 409

I like it a lot. The interior looks good in those colors. The wheels look great on that car. Only criticisms I would say would be BMF, blackwash the grille and install the headlight lenses. I'm still learning from each build after 30+ years. Keep it up. Later-
  7. Nice looking GT. I have owned three or four of these kits but never built it. I always traded them away. I have one now and I am refusing to get rid of it this time. Yours is looking great. Later-
  8. Those look nice. I've got a bunch that I've been storing up to customize soon. Later-
  9. I've found sites on the web that call them Crossbar hubcaps and Starburst hubcaps (although I also found two completely different styles called Starbursts also). The 57 lancer caps i found didn't look like the ones I'm looking for. The 57 Lancer had four bars but they didn't connect over the top like the Crossbars do. Does anyone know for sure if the F&F resin 57 Lancer caps connect in the center over the top? If so, does anyone have a set to trade? I need these to do a replica of my cousin's 50 Ford. He passed away Sunday and I want to finish this build up ASAP. Later-
  10. Cruz- That Dart is looking killer. I love the work you've done so far on the engine and chassis. That color is fantastic too. Your buddy ought to LOVE it. If not...mail it to me. Later-
  11. Dave- Good to see that you are doing good and working that hand. I like the work that you're dong on this one. I like the wheel choice. Keep it up and I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on Physical Therapy. Later-
  12. Photo should work now. Please try again. Later-
  13. Does anyone know what year and make this hubcap is? It may be a custom cap but I'd like to find some in 1/25 that are identical, not close to. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260707517441&viewitem= I need a set that is identical to this for a build of my cousin's car. Any help is appreciated. I haven't been able to locate a year or make on the internet. The closest I could come was a 14 inch custom 4 bar. Anyone make them in resin? Later-
  14. Sam- That looks fantastic. What color and brand of red did you use on the interior? It looks like a color that I want for a build of mine. Later-
  15. Welcome to the site! Those look great. Good job on the weathering too. I like the 38 Pickup and the 40 Ford especially. Keep after it. Later-
  16. Adam- Thanks for the reply. I've got to pick some of that up. Later-
  17. Cody- I like the work that you've done on that one. Yes, there are things that could be touched up or improved, but you could say that about ALL of mine too. That's why we build for fun and not for perfection. I really like the blacked out chrome. And you picked a great kit to start with. Looks good. Later-
  18. Thanks for the help guys. Now I know what he was talking about. Too bad that it is only one entry per. Maybe that way I can get it done. LOL. Later-
  19. A friend was telling me that Revell and a TV show called Gears (?) were planning a televised national model car contest for next May. Has anyone heard about this or know where I can find out any info? I looked on Revell.com but didn't find anything. Anyone got a clue? Later-
  20. Looking good. The 36 has always been one of my favorite designs. What is the # for that Plastistruct sheeting that you are using for the tuck and roll interior? I need to pick some of it up for my 50 Ford. Later-

    1949 Ford

I like that color of green. It reminds me of a 49 Ford I saw on a muffler ad years ago. What brand and color is it? Later-
  22. That rebuild is looking fantastic with the exception of one thing. To me those tires are not tall enough. The sidewall is too thin and doesn't fill the wheel wells enough. I do like the wheels and the rest of the build though. Later-
  23. Nick- Harry beat me to it. As I was looking down through the pix of your build I was thinking that your building skills have improved dramatically since I first saw your builds. It's strange that also as I was looking at this post I thought "I don't remember sending him this kit. I have one that the block halves are glued together and that the body is primered. The first couple of pictures look just like mine. Keep it up Nick. That interior is looking great. Later-
  24. I'm honored to see that you took my suggestion of the name. It will surely fit. And don't think that it is because of your stroke that things with peanut butter land face down or that things are always two inches farther than you can reach. It happens to me also. I like the work your doing so far. hat Mustang body has always made a neat little racer, in my mind. Keep it up. What color do you have planned? Later-
  25. Dave- It's great to hear that you have not given up! Keep after it and the skills will come back. And, who knows, you may learn a NEW trick or two. A friend of mine had a stroke about 6 years ago and he made a good recovery of the use of his left hand by shuffling cards. We would go to his house to play cards with him and his wife and we would not let him pass when it was his turn to shuffle. We just waited patiently for him to finish. The Dr. told him that it was one thing that helped to speed up his recovery. Good to see your progress on the build. Have you decided on a body yet? You should have decals made that name the car "Physical Therapy". Later-
