  1. The 372 wasn't an "attempt" at aerodynamic COE, it was quite successful in the streamlined aerodynamic design - garning 10.75mpg in on-road tests. In the styling department and thus the sales end of things, that's a different story.... just under 800 were built in the 4 years it was in production. Tim
  2. I've wanted to build one of these - it never dawned on me to use the Autocar radiator shell. Good plan. Tim
  3. Nice selection of kits. Tim

  6. Tastefully weathered too. Tim
  7. No Road Boss 2 or Road Commander 2 (or Road Commander) were offered in plastic kit form. Kit Form Services in the UK did offer a transkit for a Road Commander 2 COE several years ago. Tim

  9. Nice group of Hollywood stars. Tim
  10. The truck manufactures recommend an angled cut for strength. When I splice a frame I insert a piece of rigid plastic or brass (epoxy or CA glue in place) into the inside of the frame rail covering the spliced area (in front of and behind the splice) to help stiffen the splice. Tim
  11. Beautiful weathering on the chassis and exhaust ! Tim
  12. Cool! The only time I was in "Table Top Trucker" was a letter I wrote to Lou about paint jobs - he printed it in a 1975 issue and I still have that issue today. I spoke to Lou about 10 years ago and sent him a printed out version of The Plastic Cowboy website. He really liked all the great trucks being displayed. Tim
  13. Going for the LargeCar look I see. Tim
  14. Welcome! The Ford has a down-to-business look to it. Tim
