  1. Pinto Pangra, a limited production car sold by Huntington Ford.
  2. My condolences. Never met him in person but had emailed back and forth about model car stuff. Truly a wonderful man. The hobby world lost a visionary, icon, and goodwill ambassador for the hobby of model cars.
  3. Are you really sure about that, Olle. I have Bibles from the 60s that have the imprinted words "Corinthian Leather" on the bottom of the cover. It's very thin, but leather none the less. I have seen those posts on the web about the Chrysler marketing reference. They have no basis in fact.
  4. You've been off the mainland for so long you forgot baseball terminology...it's called extra innings! Double overtime, what a riot
  5. Ericmaxman, I can tell you are one of the good kids, smart, has skills, many interests....I do not know much about Malaysia, but you seem to have a good hold on what you want to do in your life. The computer aspect tells me that you have mechanical and mathematical skills. This will serve you well in the future. I've seen the models you posted and I like the look of them, very well done. I like the flat black sedan you did, kind of like an Asian version of the Robocop car, that shows imagination and the ability to carry it out, plus you are not afraid of trying out of the ordinary colors. About your Mom, i can't help you on that one (my dad was the same way), but maybe it could be a medical issue that needs to be addressed by her doctor. My elderly Mother has mood swings, too. But if she takes her medicines, she's OK.

  7. Who's going to make my marinara sauce now?

  9. Eshaver, I think that Mopar didn't like you. Think maybe it was Christines grand daughter? You tell 'em Spike, we love our ice driving. Separates the men and wimmin from the wussies.
  10. I was expecting to see something totally different when I opened the thread
  11. Much on the line of multi-colored layering would be license plates with raised letters like our state has. 32 Ford grille with raised ribbing. Rocker panel trim. Wheel covers.
  12. Well, every Ford I have ever owned was a very good car. Please note that my Fords were all under $1000.00, yet they all gave great service when I owned them...well, except the intake manifold I had to replace on a 1983 Mercury Marquis wagon I had with the 3.8 litre V6....but that was indeed a ###### engine. The only other old cars that were as good were some Buicks I had and AMCs. The Mopars and Chevys...er...not so much. In fairness to Chevy, I've had my new one over a year now and it has had NO trouble.
  13. Very nice work using the markers. I have not mastered those yet as I like colored pencil. You do very nice conceptual work which you have followed through into your scale projects. ever consider offering work to race car designers and body shops and streetrod builders?
  14. Very nice rear view. Did you do that from memory? I see you ran out of paper on the rear part, that happens to me too
  15. That is so good to hear. I'll be praying it stays away. Good to see you on the forum, too!
  16. Just start working on that super top secret build....and tell no one!
  17. Ding ding ding...of course we all know you were part of a live cast at a midnight showing, as was I. Where else can one dance, sing, ride a bike, make love to a groupie, and be killed by an alien transvestite in about ten minutes? I played the "Eddie" role many a Saturday night in the eighties.
  18. Chitty Chitty Bang bang
  19. I don't wanna be on the W bench, too many bad people, 'specially those caught littering.
  20. You guys can prattle on all you want about free programs, but for me when I try and download, all I get is requests for credit card numbers and a price. So you expect me to believe this next round of free downloads are truly free? The last one I did only fixed 20 of the 900 and some problems I had and then asked for money. Further perusing of the "free" site said, OK it's free but first you have to accept on of our offers...WHICH COST MONEY. I am truly tinkled when I sit for an hour during a scan only to be asked for money.
  21. George, no mad houses in the Milwaukee / Waukesha area NNL, just models and a nice swap the next day.
  22. Maybe using a chassis from a different kit like the DM600 Mack. Those suspensions are separate in that kit.
  23. hey hary, instead of snapping them apart, leave the scored lines as the actual tiles.
