  1. Prolly a certain kind of girl. You know, like the one on NCIS. Pauly Perrete! Love her. The kind of girl that's into the Rod Kulture...Betty Page, pin-ups, stilletto heels, tatoos. I'm getting all giddy thinking about it. BTW, the wifey won't let me have a hearse, so i bought an HHR Panel. Someone said it looks like a hearse for circus midgets. There are clubs for collectors of hearses. Morticians call them Coaches.
  2. Is not hood ornament, is tried and true Russian heater. Good for long drives to Moscow. Also good for long vinter nights in Dacha by lake Baikal. Better than Vodka.
  3. It's an Izh, built by the same factory that produced the famous Kalishnikov automatic weapon. Good Russian car, strong like bull, smells like one too. But I prefer this one
  4. The Quicksilver was the only car Zimmer made that actually looked good. The others were perfect for the Florida white belt and shoes with red polyester pants set.
  5. Nick yer right! It's the G2.
  6. When getting a new or vintage kit, open and remove tires. If tires are bagged, they should be fine. If not, wrap tires in a paper napkinn, then place in small baggie. This will protect your styrene parts from the chemical reaction.
  7. Because this site is up to date in format and those others whether it be nostalgia, cluelessness, or mental illness, have not updated to current practice.
  8. Can you figure what this is?
  9. That was the Astro Vette. I had that kit and I built it in my hospital room when I was about 16. It came out between 69 or 70. I think it is kinda rare. It was a concept car Chevy built for showing at auto shows.
  10. When that headlight opened up, it freaked me out. Just like an eyeball.
  11. I "dynamically disassembled" a few SBCs myself. One thing I could NOT kill was an AMC 232 I6.
  12. If'n I could see the darned things Zeb is postin', I might have a shot. Somebody FIX THE THING!!!
  13. Look who shows up. Where ya been, Jairus?
  14. Still can't see yer pics.
  15. Everything Modelmartin produces, as I cannot afford them yet. I am working on it.
  16. Dannenhauer & Stauss circa 1952-53
  17. I'm strokin' my puter keys just fine.
  18. I still can't see Zeb's pics. Fix it will ya? It isn't my puter that's screwing up, cuz I see everyone elses pics.
  19. O brother! Manny, Moe and Jack? Larry, Curly, and Moe? Meshak, Shadrack and Abednego?
  20. You got a lot of what I want like the 66 Packard, Toyota 2000, Porsche 914, TR8 Rallye. I already have much of what you have like the Pyro Triumph GT6+, Bearcat, Thomas Flyer, 300 SL
  21. Using Crown Vics and Impalas
  22. Wilhelms Wonder is one of the ones I want. Built it when I was a kid. Those chrome fins really struck me as "boss"! Uh, that's a word that was popular then.
  23. Samdiego! You can build a model of this!!! http://fantastic-plastic.com/FordLevacarPage.htm
  24. Ford Levacar from 1959
  25. Yeah George, too bad GM has to be run by bean counters and stuffed shirts. Little comfort to the fine folks who work at soon to be closed plants like the Chevy plant in Janesville. If through some magic confluence of eventts I got control of GM, I would bring the out sourced work back here. No reason they can't build stuff like the HHR in Janesville, Wisconsin instead of Mexico. I know things like Mega sized SUVs and trucks are on the down slide. Can't GM come up with economical vehicles to build in these plants?
