  1. Also, did you truly build this city on rock and roll?
  2. Thanks for ruining my fun!
  3. What about those of us sitting down? Should we roll away from the keyboard?
  4. Hey guys look, I found some chrome gravel!
  5. Neither does plastic and fire!
  6. I'd say rebuild the engine. If the internals are sound and the cylinders aren't severely scored, then rebuild it with more power! *Tim Taylor grunt*
  7. Does it stick to water-based chrome substitutes, especially if they are are factory produced parts?
  8. Exactly, so you can go with plain leather seats or the fancy Spongebob seat covers from PepBoys!
  9. I've been thinking, what about Band-Aids? They come in different sizes, shapes, and colors, and have a leather look to them. Granted the regular ones have holes in them, but they could be filled in somehow (or left open for a sporty look). The parts with the foam could act like cushions or help accentuate the seat. Of course, I haven't tried this and don't know how effective they would be (especially with extra glue). It just seems like a material that is thin enough for 1/24 & 1/25 scale, but still has a leather look. If someone were to try this, I guess Band-Aid brand would be the best.
  10. I'm assuming this will be a mudding CR-V correct? Won't get much flex space with those!
  11. Haha I know, just pointing out in a way that on your wheels you painted the openings gold (where it should be black), and the center is still silver.
  12. In the center, not towards the outside (to a degree).
  13. I would have stuck with the tan interior since it contrasts the blue better than the gray and black, but at least it now looks more presentable! Wheels look nice too. I would try and find some sort of spoiler to throw on the back, it looks too bare now. Perhaps one from a 60's or 70's Mustang?
  14. Looks good, 'cept the blue seats don't look right. They should either be tan or at least match the exterior.
  15. Yikes, are you creating a whole history for it? I can tell you that it probably came with Goodyear Polyglas GT tires. Edit: Found a VIN Decoder that puts the plant in Hamtramck, MI. http://www.angelfire.com/oh3/1970challenger/vin.html
  16. No, I don't see The Bandit driving!
  17. I actually have a brochure for the 1989 trucks, and it says that the 2WD F-350 is supposed to have a monobeam front axle, and the 4WD F-350 has a solid front axle (4WD F-250 still has TTB). So it goes: Bronco: 2WD-Twin I Beam 4WD-TTB, Front Coil F-150: 2WD-Twin I Beam 4WD-TTB, Front Coil F-250: 2WD-Twin I Beam 4WD-TTB, Front Leaf Spring F-350: 2WD-Monobeam 4WD-Solid Axle, Front Leaf Spring
  18. Don't you mean IH Scout?
  19. Oh I'm sure it is. That's my plan with the "new" F-250 kit coming back out. Course the Bronco is 1/25 and the F-Series are 1/24, but it shouldn't be that big of a difference.
  20. I have the AMT Bronco sitting in front of me, and it has the correct coils with trailing arms. *shrug* In any case though, it looks like your best bet is just throwing in solid axles, since I can't think of any place that makes resin TTBs. Edit: No problem in having multiple unused Bronco kits sitting around, I'm sure they would be easy to trade off since other people could use them for building a custom Bronco, or for building a 1980-86 F-150/250/350 or 1987-1996 Bronco.
  21. What I would really like to see is a scale, say, 33" BFG All-Terrain T/A. They are one of the most popular off-road tires, heck I'm even running them!
  22. Actually, don't forget that AMT produced a version of the Bronco, and you can still find it at Model Roundup. IMO, it has a better TTB due to the fact that it is in separate pieces, whereas (correct me if I'm wrong) the Monogram Bronco has the TTB as a single piece.
  23. Here's the color you should do: Looking on Google images, most are orange, red, and yellow, but you don't see to many green versions.
