  1. Here's one I've seen at a car show...also I guess it's the only one built with the green body and black painted roof, it's quite gorgeous.
  2. Awesome! The Wings are my favorite team, hope they win! (I'm sure they will ) While you're at the Xcel, may I suggest getting the pizza, it's excellent.
  3. Seeing as no one else answered, and since it's not the 21st yet, I'll help ya out. First off, no stores with plastic models in MoA, just a diecast car store. I found a place in Richfield, which is the next town to the NW of the mall. It's called the Hub Hobby Center and I guess it is fairly big. Hope this helps! BTW, who is the Wild playing? I love going to their games, the Xcel Center is an awesome rink! (I'm from Minnesota)
  4. I'd say go with the gold Cragers!
  5. "Duude, why are the footwells so small?" "Well how else are you going to fit 24's!"
  6. Good thing!
  7. Click free! Looks great so far!
  8. Great color and very clean engine! How come you didn't paint the underside of the hood?
  9. Looks great! I built this with the same grille, but in German Silver with the black stripes. I noticed that you have that orange rotating paint jar holder, which I also have!
  10. Looks great! I built this kit with the tow body and it didn't turn out too bad, though I did have a hard time getting the fuel tanks to stay attached until the glue finally dried. I noticed the regular tractor pieces, but it never occured that you could actually make the tractor version of the truck.
  11. Bugs are great. Easy to work on, fun to drive. In fact my dad has a 1969 Baja Bug, it's awesome to drive especially off-road, and it has one of the best sounding 4-cylinders around.
  12. I'll mostly be sticking with the smaller guys, due to lack of shelf space, but it would be nice to do at least one more!
  13. Love the Tamiya kits, always so detailed. I built this in red with white wheels, turned out great. Course I have a problem of when I try to move it around when dusting, the body shifts and the rear lid falls off. Probably should have tried to glue the body somehow.
  14. Beauty! I have the 3 n 1 El Camino kit and the Choo Choo kit. The 3 n 1 kit was fun to build (came in Black Knight/SS, Custom, and lowrider version), especially since it came with turbocharger (I believe) and topper. Speaking of the bass boat, I have the kit with the 80's Dodge Ramcharger and bass boat. Great kit but I wish I could rebuild it again...(built it back in the low-quality days )
  15. Hey, I'm Jordan, and I'm a noob (to the site, not to model building ) I built up the 1/12th Bel Air over the summer (right now I'm at college, so no building!) Figured I could show it off. Basically 3 coats Testors yellow spray, wheels painted like the charcoal American Racing TTD's (even though they are Cragar S/S), brake and fuel lines from solder wire, custom exhaust with shortened mufflers (as other builders of this know the stock mufflers are twice as long) and belts made from rubber bands. This was my first big boy, and it was a blast because of the detail I could incorporate. I may have gone a bit overboard with the yellow parts, but I tried to get a sort of black and yellow theme going, like a street rod. Anyways some pictures. Hope you enjoy it!
