  1. If only that's what Christine looked like in the movie! BTW, what kit is that hood scoop from? I have the same one in my parts box, but I don't know what it's from (or do you not know also?)
  2. I meant er...model reference!
  3. Here's a good CJ-7 version if you need some reference pics. Daisy's Jeep
  4. I also use Photobucket, it's an excellent site. Here's a great thread for uploading to PB and putting a picture on here. Posting pics with Photobucket
  5. Taillights are upside-down! Other then that, good work for a kit that's the wrong vehicle!
  6. A lot of amazing work shops, and Wayne, you have waaay to many kits! Anywho, I don't have a pic of my work "area" since I'm so ashamed of it All I have is a 3 foot tall Craftsman tool chest with a 2.5ft x 2ft work area on top.
  7. Hey, that looks great especially with those wheels! How did you tint the taillights (or did they come that way)?
  8. I would also like to see some more model trucks/suvs. One that would seem to be a hit is a CJ-7. They could give the option of 4.2 I6 or 304 V8 (with option of stock or dual exhaust), hard top w/full doors or soft top (no top) with half doors, stock or custom bumpers, a choice of wheels (steel or custom alloy), a CB, and maybe some performance goodies. Everyone says that the kits of popular vehicles sell the most, and the Jeep CJ is very well known vehicle.
  9. I resent that!
  10. 1974/1975/1978 Pontiac Firebird Esprit
  11. I already mentioned it on the first page, must not have seen it.
  12. Close. Al Bundy had a 1971 Plymouth Duster while Happy Gilmore had a 1974 Duster.
  13. I have an awesome Idea for a build-off...Monster Trucks! I'm not talking your standard monster trucks that you see at the local Civic Center, but something crazy and wild where you take the frame/suspension/wheels from a monster truck kit, and add a body of your choice, and perhaps even expand on the chassis itself. Or if you're willing, you could build your own complete monster truck from scratch. Heck, it could even have tracks if you were so inclined.
  14. Yes, that Wanker should haul, especially if he's named Wankel.
  15. First, and current, vehicle for me is a 1989 Jeep Wrangler Islander. Bought it off my cousin back in 2005 in this condition: and here it is in its current condition:
  16. Like I said, the turn signal stalk is on the wrong side. In the picture from the show, the lever you see is the automatic transmission shifter.
  17. May I just say WOW!
  18. Oh I agree, since the kit is actually a CJ-5 (which I'm sure you figured out already!)
  19. Now remember Cooter, that dang 'ol turn signal lever sits on that there left side of the steering column!
  20. That's quite a fancy mouse you gots there mister!
  21. When I had to "swedge" parts together, I used a soldering iron. I do agree that it is looking good so far though!
  22. I like how in the pics of the interior (from the show), one shows a column-shifted automatic and the other shows a floor-shifted manual.
