  1. All you do is take the code that you posted, and put it into the image tags. (in the reply screen, it's the picture below "fonts" with the sunset).
  2. Haha, I have that GTO slot car!
  3. Because the build originators let him. Here's what Nick said in the Street Truck build Like I said, it's the people who started the build threads who get to decide what goes. If they want to let someone not follow the rules, then that's their choice (since they determined the rules in the first place). Likewise, if they don't want to allow an exception, then that's fine too.
  4. He's running this build thread, so he can make and enforce any rules he wishes. Dukefan allowed him to build outside the rules for the other event, so you'd have to take it up with him.
  5. I know you're a bit new here and all, but why do you keep making new threads for the same project? (especially since Nick wanted the builds in the thread he created!)
  6. Not sure why this needed a new thread, but I'll help anyways. Here's some pictures from the show, and yes it is long wheel base since it has the 8 foot bed.
  7. Alright, I'm going to get into this build! I recently picked up the "reissued" Revell Jeep CJ-7 Renegade kit, and just looked through the Internet Movie-Car Database for an idea. I've decided to build Demi Moore's Jeep from St. Elmo's Fire, but of course only have one picture to go off of. When I go home for winter break, I'll be able to actually watch the movie again and see if I can see any more details. But, for now (this weekend actually), I'll take care of the chassis parts that aren't seen during the movie.
  8. I'd get it! I had a blast building it and wish I had another.
  9. It's the best glue ever!...if you want your model to smell like orange Pine-Sol! It does hold parts together, but only just enough. I've since bought some super glue which holds much better.
  10. Just about, you forgot the bracket after the font type.
  11. It wouldn't happen to be this one would it?
  12. Here's a few sites for the technical details: Van Info A-Team Van Also, don't forget that the exhaust should exit in front of the rear tires (on both sides), which isn't visible in several of your pictures.
  13. In any case, there was a sequel to Christmas Vacation, but let us never speak of it again!
  14. Since it's based on the Honcho, I'm assuming 4WD (plus I can see the front axle in place). Should be a cool build! What color are you thinking? You should make the one from What About Bob!
  15. Looks like an interesting project! Quick note though, you technically could have left the rims as 10 lug since the F-450 and F-550 Chassis Cabs came with 10 lug hubs/wheels, so you could have simply said it was a conversion.
  16. Alright, time for another quick weekend update! Added some decals, and installed the depth finder and windshield on the console.
  17. I've never really cared for View New Posts. Usually I just go into the sub-forums I mainly frequent, find the threads that interest me, and click the "new posts" button (unless it's a new thread). Edit: After trying out the deal, I may actually use it if I've been away from the computer for a long time, seems better than my other system!
  18. Here's a picture that is better representative of your build (minus the newer headlights of course): It should turn out great, except of course I don't really like those wheels at all. But that's just me!
  19. No no no no no! CD's do not belong on the seat! They belong in the CD holder on the sunvisor! Looks great, can't wait to see how it turns out!
  20. Thanks! It was quite the experience since it was my first time scratchbuilding something large and intricate. I was even surprised how well it turned out!
  21. Sounds cool! I had before built up the red version (has 2 windshields and a wrap-around bench up front) and am now building up the blue version (single windshield). My concept for this boat is a bass boat built up to look like a custom speed boat. Well that, and match the paintjob I have planned for the truck later on. Oh, and it is quite fun! It would be nice if they would make more boat/trailer kits of the pleasure craft/speed boat variety.
  22. Got some more work done this weekend. Started off by painting the interior, hull bolsters, and inner fenders with gray primer to simulate carpeting (since I didn't feel like dealing with flocking haha). Then I Painted the lights on the trailer and got the wheels put on. And I added a few parts to the boat as well, such as the trolling motor, gauge cluster, steering wheel, and throttle control.
  23. Her cardboard cutout (of a) character is on the box. Anyways, this should turn out to be a good kit!
  24. Here's the only one I currently have on my computer haha.
