  1. I resent that!
  2. 1974/1975/1978 Pontiac Firebird Esprit
  3. I already mentioned it on the first page, must not have seen it.
  4. Close. Al Bundy had a 1971 Plymouth Duster while Happy Gilmore had a 1974 Duster.
  5. I have an awesome Idea for a build-off...Monster Trucks! I'm not talking your standard monster trucks that you see at the local Civic Center, but something crazy and wild where you take the frame/suspension/wheels from a monster truck kit, and add a body of your choice, and perhaps even expand on the chassis itself. Or if you're willing, you could build your own complete monster truck from scratch. Heck, it could even have tracks if you were so inclined.
  6. Yes, that Wanker should haul, especially if he's named Wankel.
  7. First, and current, vehicle for me is a 1989 Jeep Wrangler Islander. Bought it off my cousin back in 2005 in this condition: and here it is in its current condition:
  8. Like I said, the turn signal stalk is on the wrong side. In the picture from the show, the lever you see is the automatic transmission shifter.
  9. May I just say WOW!
  10. Oh I agree, since the kit is actually a CJ-5 (which I'm sure you figured out already!)
  11. Now remember Cooter, that dang 'ol turn signal lever sits on that there left side of the steering column!
  12. That's quite a fancy mouse you gots there mister!
  13. When I had to "swedge" parts together, I used a soldering iron. I do agree that it is looking good so far though!
  14. I like how in the pics of the interior (from the show), one shows a column-shifted automatic and the other shows a floor-shifted manual.
  15. Aww man, I have the perfect vehicle for this (Monogram Ford F-350) that I wanted to rebuild, but of course I'm up at school!
  16. Ah yeah the chrome moldings, I forgot about those. I wondered why you didn't mask off to make the separation straight.
  17. Hey, looks excellent for using a paintbrush! My very very first kits I used a brush and they turned out like junk...course I was using Testors paint. Quick question: are you planning on putting some pin striping along where the black and red meet?
  18. I really think that a shade of tan would complement the gray nicely.
  19. Thanks for the compliments! If you want one, here's the site I purchased mine from. Model Roundup
  20. This is the AMT/Model King 1972 Chevy Blazer kit. Many years ago I built up a similar AMT kit, though that was a 1972 GMC Jimmy. I found this kit and decided it would be cool to do a "then and now" sort of deal. I tried to customize it as best I could, and am certainly satisfied with the results. It is painted International Harvester red (using actual tractor paint, so it's durable!) I used the brush guard and rear bumper from my 1984 GMC Truck model, the mirrors from the Dodge Ramcharger "Gone Fishin" set, as well as the spare tire carrier, and the roll bar is from the 198* Ford Bronco 2 n 1 kit. I was surprised at the amount of optional parts that came with the kit, including the aftermarket air cleaner, off-road shocks, tachometer, headers, and shorty exhaust pipes. I custom built a sub-box with amp, installed spark plug wires, and heater hoses as well as a CB radio with antenna, and "truck flaps" (bumper mounted mudflaps). Oh yeah, can't forget the hood scoop from the 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner kit! 3/4 view compared to old kit.
  21. They were built from 1990-1993, so anywhere during that time.
  22. That sucks, it's only an LS5. Oh well, 360hp is still quite an amount! Should turn out great!
  23. Could we get some bumper close ups, because I'm still certain they're on reverse from front to back.
