That's pretty cool, Tom. My kids weren't interested in model making but hoping the grand kids get the bug in a couple years. I came across these decals ... 1/18 but may fit with a little trimming http://liquidrealitystudios.com/2009/03/118-scale-az-dps-logos/ If not, I can print you some decals if we can find a good photo to go from. You might have some first hand cars there to take photos I could use.

Welcome, Chris. If you're near the central, Hartford area, stop at Time Machine Hobby in Manchester for a model treat! They have extensive car kits and supplies. I grew up in East Hartford and visit there whenever I'm back. Just get something that floats your boat and enjoy!

Well, now I'm going to have to finish painting this after Agent G resurrected it! I think Wayne drove one for a living, so I'll forgive him. I DO appreciate the wonderful comments.

Been awhile since my last update but I have been plugging along. The extractor exhaust pipes have been twisting in my brain but I think I have a plan, so they may be next. I had asked a question here on the IRS suspension and got some suggestions and they are now done. I didn't get too exact and left the shocks mounted as they were. I made a diagonal from strips, rounds and pins and it came out with the look I was after ... Also slowly coming along on the bench is the dash padding cutout, the plug wires, read fender seam beading I had sanded off (replaced with .03" triangular strip).

The arms are done so here's a shot. I put 3 strips together and a tube on a pin on the inside with a square at the outside. The boots are just three punched out circles.

I just use paper from Micro Mark but I understand one of the best is papilio. There are many opinions here on this.

I'd say Prowler, but I'm doing those! If the hood is working something like the '39 Chevy or some other 'molded to fender' lights mounted to the hood sides. Ones that have more of the bucket set into the fender. Or ... 1948 Citroen 2CV 1961 Chrysler Imperial There IS a kit of these but was in 1961 I got one. Not sure how available. Just one each side of the grill.

eheh ... I'm glad this got funny! What everyone is trying to give a name and make rules for has been in effect since I joined here. There's no need to name OR make rules up for it ... I you have a spare part someone is looking for, drop it in the mail for him/her. That's it ... done ... nothing more. And someday when you need that 4th '65 Chevy hubcap that visited the carpet, someone will probably do the same for you.

This one rang my bell since I'm trying to build my first car, a '51. The scale would have probably kept me away from using one of these, and most likely price also. I've never jeard of these, so thanks for posting.
