  1. My list of favorites includes probably every one listed so far. But my REAL favorite is always the car I'm currently driving .. at least until it's getting time to trade in for another "favorite"!! Currently it's a 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe .. manual, of course ... and Black as night.
  2. Welcome to the forum.
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I have the same kit that I'm making my wife's plain non-GT version, so I will take heed when putting it together. Looks like it's the same color as yours too. It's just waiting for the carpet monster to give up the rear window! (.. can't imagine where it went!)
  4. We've already used all the words there are to describe this, so I'll just say !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Looks fantSTIC! The red accents are just right setting off the off white color.
  6. That was a great showing ... great variety and for me, a TON of old dirt trackers! and then there was this!!!! .... Splish, Splash
  7. Excellent paint idea ..the Rising Sun!!!! Very effective and must have been a bear to mask.
  8. haha .. don't mind us Chilly. Most on here got their start modeling the Roman Chariot Annual kits!!! I had no problem with the original, but... I'm sure size change is appreciated.
  9. wow! That DOES look really good aside the car. Better than most railroad grass I see even.
  10. Welcome to the forum here and congrats on your placing at the GSL .. defiantly something to be proud of! ... but now we're going to be expecting a photo-frenzy from you!
  11. heheh .. I was originally going to say "or is that just all the paint on it?" as a joke! That has expanded in size quite a bit!
  12. is that adjustable with the plastic hangers?
  13. Good to see you're on the way back, Dave! These put the box art of what you started with to shame.
  14. That wood looks fantastic! I have a dash needing some wood so gonna have to find those pens.

  19. Congratulations!!! (my first grand kid is less than 9 months away)
  20. That's decrepit .. VERY good looking weathering!
  21. Hewson Rocket-1946
  22. ah yes ... this '41 could be where Plymouth got the idea for all those future 70's colors! That color DOES look good on it.
  23. This is a cool looking Porsche and paint is looking good. I love flat paint on interiors to get that leather-like shine after rubbing it with a soft cloth after it's dry. And I wouldn't clear coat the chassis just to give it a little different gloss to set it apart. I had five 1:1 924/944's and those tail lights are dead ringers. Just like using 56 Packard tail lights on a 51 Merc! For painting a body, a wire coat hanger works better than anything I've ever tried. It's re-bendable every time you use on a different model. It can be made to either stand on it's own or hang upside down to dry. I like them because I can twist and turn the body as I spray. Only trouble now a days is most hangers around the house are plastic!
  24. Looks like they're multiplying!!!!! (I always loved Rabbits too)
  25. I loved those old Stylines .. that's a great looking build.
