  3. I have used 91% isoprpol alcohol for thinning tamiya and it worked fine .Saves a little money too.

  9. Unbelievable. The thing that knocked me off the bench seat was the interiors. I wasn't expecting the heavy weathering on the exteriors. The combination is drop dead perfect. Thanks for posting

  22. Guys, Rummaging through files last night and found a ton of research photos on Scotty cannons 53 ON Sat pro mod . Also a full custom set of decals for it !. Can someone here guide me to the best resin body for this project ? Thanks
  23. Brad, this is an incredible build . Beautiful. I might have a source for aluminum . I have used it in the past and still do. Flashing material for eaves and covering windows. A few bigbox stores have it ( Home Depot, Lowes ). I have found it plain and it comes in a roll. Enough for a lifetime.Another source is disposable foil cooking pans .Look for large pans without any embossing on the bottom.The material is thin but it works. Hope this helps a few people.
  24. I didn't know that. Funny the reason I went with the different decal set, I really didn't like the blue max set. I hope to post soon with paint and decals. Thanks for the info.
