The reissue is the same as the old DOH and TJ hooker car,it has the correct single exhaust and the chassis looks like the same ones that came in the originals, and to make the factory stock verison of this kit,you need the steering wheel from the 80-82 dodge vans, and the wheel covers fron the 78 Dodge Van ,kit Number 7822 or the 79 Dodge magic van molded in silver ,The wheels from the 72-76 Dodge Trucks are wrong, unless you are converting won to the 75-76 fury or coronet!any resin casters listiening?and if you are, please please plate the wheels,i'd buy atleast 6 sets of them!

Well first off it wasn't your money, and 2 if you payed alittle more attention and went and looked at my profile on here my REAL name is on here in my e-mail!and as far as your oppinion on them or there products, who cares!as far as what I paided for it is irrelavant!everyone is bashing one person on here and you bring these people up and I get a BOOHOO,well heres the bottom line if you sell someone something and its not right ,THEY FIX IT,Thats how you run a business correctly!HAVE A NICE DAY!Steve Ketterer!
-
Ok well who and how are they getting away with it on there?I wasn't personaly attacking anyone on here I'd just like to know how to get ahold of them,as i've had no luck on the other sight!I do know however that whom ever is selling the stuff has been kicked off or closed and reopened there accounts atleast 4-6 times now!guess I'm just out $71 ,very sad for people to run a business like that!and by the way thats funny you said june/july of this year, well thats when I won the thing!I got the dates mixed up!you can even look it up in your RECORDS!it was for a 72 Demon body kit!I won it for $71!I geuss everyone on here that has been burned or recieved JUNK products need to report AFX,to the BBB,this reminds me of the AAM issue from the 90's,but atleast he tryed to get things worked out with people, not take the money from people and Laugh all the way to the bank!So this makes me sick! From now on i'll just deal with repitable resin dealers that are in it for the customers and the hobby, not how much cash they can get off people,Thank You to all the REALLY talented resin casters out there,AFX,well you know where you stand!

I second the motion!STOP ripping people off AFX!

WOW,Nice conversion work!

I won a 72 Demon back in feburary,Off of e-pay,and let me tell you that has to be the roughest body I have ever got in resin!,plus half the lip below the taillight panel was ground off!wheres the quality control,So who ever is selling this stuff ,send me a new body,or refund my $71 I paid for that PEICE!I'll countinue to buy from HONEST people ,but I tryed to contact them and they told me it wasn't there problem, and It was the XTCTLC vender on there!so keep your money,I'm so tired of some people on here and other places taking our hard earned money and ripping us off,so who ever sold this to me,do the right thing a replacement or refund!

Good looking kit! -
Modelhaus masters?ok I have seen his stuff on e-bay myself,I think he needs to learn how to make molds and accurate renderings of the cars he sells,I seen one of the 69 marauders go for $71 about a week ago,I feel very sorry for the person that won that PEICE!lol,if I could have gave him $10 for it I may have bought it!But I will have to stick up for R&R they are just 2 people making over 250 or so kits,so there will be mistakes sometimes!but overall they are buildable and I have seen some really nice subjects they have done!my 2 cents, but frontier resin?he's set the resin biz back 20years for some, especially if its the persons very first resin build!I'm glad I never wasted my money on ANYTHING from them,I'll just wait till someone else does the 69 Mercury,or do it myself!

nothings wrong with the one in the kit,I was talking about the one someone posted on e-pay,they made it there self, the one missing link makes is perfect,We both made sure of it,as far as the 71 grill ,I was trying to think up how I could do it so you could market both years!I just read through the messages and is the 71 grill on the way? the photo etch set is great, also, trust me guys the 70 Montego IS a must have for Ford and Mercury fans! -

I just seen it,nice car,but its not the one I mastered for missing link!hoods all wrong and so is the grill, they have it flush,as the montego is the exact same grill as the cyclone, but the center is different, anyone have any suggestions on what I could use for the center of the grill for a 71?so I can make one up,and send it to missing link to cast,so we can have the 70 AND 71,anyone who has the right grill for me to use sent it to me,so I can make it up! ;)I'm working on the 2 taillights per side body right know! -
40Th Annivarsary Of The Summer Of '69 Community Build
spkgibson replied to Nick Winter's topic in WIP: Model Cars
very true, well here in Michigan all you see is rust!lol,I have seen some many nice muscle cars that looked great from 10 feet away, till you look at them upclose and see all the bubbles of rust or bondo falling off!or they pop open the trunk and the metal looks like swiss cheese -

Looking great so far,now not to nit pick,as I see alot of builders make the same mistake, the front sub frames on mopar are primer with body color overspay just the very outsides of the front and rear and sides, the rest is gray primer!as for fords they are the red oxide primer, the mopars have the body color engine compartment, most mopars have been unibodys since 1960,but fords usualy have black engine compartments depending on the year of the car,and if the car is a full frame or unibody, like the mustangs ,torinos, exctra I reserch the real cars on here ,or in magazines, but on mopars,NO black subframes or frame sides, they are body color!hope this helps next time for you, love the color on the BEE! -

Has anyone finished one of these yet?I have been to busy working on masters to get one of these done -
Well I know the 69 galaxie had to be the starting point, the front looks alittle like the 65 Lincolin hood and front end,as far as the grill and rear bumpers I been racking my brain tring to figure that out, anyone else have any Ideas feel free to share,I think the rear bumper itself could maybe be made with the 69-70 cougar rear bumper,2 of them molded together, and adding the lower half of the 69 galaxie rear bumper!,If I had the parts I could try and figure out how to make the master,I want to make the 69-70 Marquis, the taillights look alot like the the 69-70 cougar,oh and the rear of the car dips in at a curve in the middle! The pic is a Monteray, basicaly the same car
-
Do you have the parts needed?Let me know, and as far as the maruader, how about a 69 Marquis convertible?
-
Any idea how to get the 69 mercury?I can fix the flaws,I just want one for my collection!
-
can anyone help me on this?I know deacon resin sells them,I desperately need one for a dodge truck I have missing the grill, anyone?

Well yes Ray is that ways at time, but you need to think about the time and money he puts into his products, and Motor City resin is also one of the best casters out there,BUT I have my oppinon on the other person and it will stand! If you woulda had that happen to you,you would feel the same way, thats a real sore spot for me!why offer product to order and you sent them the money ,and wait and wait,no products, atleast with the persons I deal with I ALWAYS get my products! And If I would not have sacrificed my 70 300,67 polara, and 71 delta 88,they would not be available right now,in production!
