  1. I just started this a couple days ago, here are a few photos,It looks ugly right know I'm in the process of putting the trim around all 4 wheel well,What a pain! The only thing left to do is put the side trim down the side, and it's ready for the final primer coats,The hood is made by Missing Link ,I put a sneak peak in the resin section..........Steve
  2. Finally a non SS Impala, way to many SS models out there! They should have done this with the 69 Nova,And made the SS emblems separate for the SS fans,Anyway,I will get this one when it comes out,Also the 66!Hmmm I see the "OLD RELIABLE" 62
  3. Hi fellow modelers,I just got mine back from Missing Link Resin,I don't know when he will have them in the catalog,But they look great,Here is a sneak peek at one,Excuse the photo,I took it with my cell phone,These are 100% correct! Thanks Kevin!
  4. Yeah I'll run right out and buy one when they come out,NOT!!!!!!!!!!!! But you never know they could have better quality then the real ones,What a waste,What is Toyota trying to make up there loses by licensing Model Manufacture's to make models Of the junk? Who in the h e double hockey sticks would waste the money on a Prius Model? What a JOKE!
  5. Like the color,And the wheels...........
  6. Wow I messed up that last post,Any of you having issues with the new window to type? Its driving me crazy,at the end you have to type blind basically,Anyways Marc you are right about the 79-81 Firebirds!
  7. I'd love to see that also,Then I would find the original MPC 77 Firebird annual kit,So the only things you would have to modify on the body, would be filling in the trams am vents on the front fenders,The 77/78 Trans Ams didn't have the T-Tops cut out, onlt the black bird version of the kit did, that one was made around 77
  8. Wow Steve that hood looks great, when I made mine,I used the vents out of the AMT 70 Vanishing Point Challenger,Mine turned out similar ,but your vents are alot more defined,GREAT JOB!And Deacon, when are going to have yours out?I want acouple of those, and if your still making that 69 Chevelle wagon,I need 2 of those also!
  9. I see a decent 72-74 cuda to restore in my eyes, feel like getting rid of it?
  10. anything can be sprayed over Lacquer paint, enamel,Acrylic,Just Do not spray Lacquer over these paints or they will lift, and you will have to strip it and Start all over...........Hope this helps!
  11. I am liking what you did with the rear springs,They look real,I can't wait to see these in paint,Looking great!..............Steve Ketterer
  12. Go Find the 74 AMT Snap kit,it has all the parts you will need to restore this,The interior is the same, and you can cut out the roof from the snap kit to replace the bad spots on this, and the rocker panel,The chassis will be the only hard part, but it can be done,I've fixed cars in worse shape then this, the only difference between the 72 And the 74 snap kit is the bumpers,Thats it,The hood can be bought from Time Machine Resin,..............Hope this helps..........Steve Ketterer
  13. Nice Collection,I like the old Pontiacs!...............Steve Ketterer
  14. Paint jobs looking great,One question I have, are these limited edition kits?.............Looks nice so far!
  15. Here is one of the Demons.Steve Ketterer
  16. I want to play along,here is some of my A-Body Collection,All mint!The 2 Demons are untouched.......Steve Ketterer
  17. Just touch it up,that paint job looks to nice to strip, and the only flaw I can see is where the Blue meets the White on the B pillers, mask the blue, and lightly sand that area and blend the white in that area,It looks really nice as is...I have the 73 MPC kit to paint, and I'm waiting till I have enough time to paint it,Plus I'm leary on painting a $100 Kit!.............Steve Ketterer
  18. Cut the roof off a 64 AMT Impala and blend it to the body, and fill in the first porthole on the front fender, and Look up a few photos of it,As far as the wheelbase both cars have the same,The LeSabre was different,Not the Wildcat!.......Steve Ketterer
  19. Use the hood from the Revell 68/69 Charger, you will have to mod it to fit,but it looks alot better then a 70 style hood on a 69,and the 70 front bumper in that kit is a joke,If your relly ambitious about it,Cut out the character lines out of the front doors from a junker revell 68/69 and blend them into the F&F body,That can be a nice 69,IF you take the time to make corrections in it,Throw that hood away, for 2 reasons,1 it's warped, and finally it's not correct for the 69,If you really want to have a 70,I would get the kit from Modelhaus,it comes with everything including chromed bumpers and the correct interior!Alittle tip for you if you have the grill and bumper unit from the Revell 69 Cut out the grills and use those as your inserts,They look much better....................Steve Ketterer
  20. I owned 6 of them in the past, and when I opened those kits up when brand new,It always had a 1976 Eldorado in the box,I had 2 modeled in tan,2 Yellow, and the very last 2 I bought in 1991,They were molded in white,so if you have a white one,it is the last release of the kit, also look for BAR Codes on the box,If they have those they are from 91' If not, late 70's to late 80's,Some of the early issues of the kit could be White though, but without the bar code on the box.............Hope This helps,Steve Ketterer
  21. Your build looks great,I wish I knew someone to print off a set of Rod Shop decals for me for a 71 Demon I want to build,Looks great my friend!
  22. Nice job on the build Matt,.............Steve Ketterer
