  1. It's about time,And I'm tired of all the childish behavior on here,I have read a few posts that very quickly got off topic,This Message Board my friends is for us all to share tips and how to's to one another,Not to bash people,It's a hobby that obviously we all love,or we wouldn't be on here,My point is take the drama elsewhere and lets get back to building and sharing our models with one another,Bashing People,And countless other problems I have seen on here isn't necessary,Let put our energy into building,If you do have a problem with someone on here,Just ignore them,as long as your pleased with your builds thats all tha matters....Keep The Peace fellows!
  2. I'm sure your right,I got confussed with the whole packaging deal,I was stunned when I opened up the 70 Toronado I had, and seen a white car the same as the USA OLDIES version,I wish all of those molds were still around,The Rebels the most!
  3. One other thing I forgot,The engines in these cars were painted metallic blue, not red as I have seen done in the past, the last red AMC motor was the 1966 model years,67-73 were painted metalic blue, and from 74 on they were painted Blue, close to Chrysler Engine blue!Hope this helps you with your build!
  4. That kit is a 73-74 Javelin AMX,I built the same exact kit in 83'Mine was molded in a medium blue,Johan got the molds back from AMT,In the 70's,the 73-74 Javelin was an amt kit,as was the the 70 Toronado in the usa oldies box,Both companys shared the molds back then,Any ways,to make a long story short,71-72 "T" on the roof,73-74 flat roof, and the body you have is indeed the 73-74 style, the bumpers in some of these kits came with the 73-74 rear bumper, and taillight panel,And some did not,They had the 72 rear bumper,I even had one of those kits the was molded in off white and had an orange rear spoiler!,I had over 10 of these kits at one time over the years, and they varied in colors and parts,To bad this mold is gone forever!
  5. Guys R&R Doesn't take requests for new stuff,He only casts what he has done, well over 250 different items,And it is a 2 person operation,How do I know this? I have been to his shop many of times,As I live 15 miles away from him!So posting wants for R&R is a waste of time,If you want the cars metioned bad enough,Make the master for it,and someone would gladly make it for you,But it HAS to be flawless!Sorry to burst everyones bubble,As they do make ALOT of interesting subjects! But I wouldn't be expecting anything listed any time soon!
  6. That would be the ORIGINAL Issue AMT 64,The Revell cab is a little different,They may have used the emblems from the revell 64 though,Good luck on that 62-63 Meteor,Looks like the paint will strip off with no problems,By the way you can get all the chrome from the modelhaus,Nice score!
  7. That HAS to be the most impressive build I have ever seen,And built in 1973,That was the year I was born,I sure hope he is still building,That is a work of art!AMAZING!
  8. Contact Kevin At Missing Link,They will Be the one Making the car!
  9. That looks sweet,I have a soft spot for those 67-69 Barracuda's,I can't wait to see it in paint!
  10. Well anyways I still love this car,I'm jealous I WANT ONE!
  11. They will all be seperate parts, the headlights,Grill And the front bumper,Plus they will already be plated!
  12. Here is the completed body with the bumper taped on,Before I sent it out to be cast,I sent it out in Feburary
  13. So thats what that Duster is supposed to look like,Nice Job!Only one thing,You forgot to trim the flash off the back where the cowl is,Other then that Very nice build,I can't wait to see more!
  14. A simple yes or no would be the best answer,Are the shutting down,If not please don't get us all worked up about this!
  15. Sounds like an awesome kit!
  16. The 71 interior is the same for the 72's according to my brochure I own,The body is the same it just has the 72-78 style marker lights ,The rallye however has 5 slats on the doors,That is the only difference in the 2 years,Let me know when the bumpers and taillights are readdy PLEASE!
  17. here is a photo I found of one on ebay
  18. I hope you didn't buy that thing,If you did it is a waste of money,I built one when I was around 15,And everything in the kit was out of proportion,The body was complete junk,It does however have nice box art,I personally would try and find the MPC Super Hawk,That is a nice kit,But to make it fully factory stock,You would also need to find the MPC Monza for the wheels,As the Skyhawk doesn't have the stock wheels just custom mags,So for the money you would waste on that kit you could get the 75 Skyhawk And a 70's Monza to kit bash!
  19. A 1972 Dodge Charger conversion with the base model grill,Flat hood and base model taillight panel with seperate taillights,Thats way over do,Look at all the 71's everyone is building,That would fill a void in some of our Mopar collections,And with all the 71 kits out there the possibilitys are endless on varaitions of making different trim level 72's.
  20. First carefully take them apart, and as far as stripping the old paint off,I use scale cote,It work like a dream, some others use castrol super clean,It also works great,by the photos you posted they should be very easy to restore...
  21. Could you send me a few more photos of your build,Like the rear and engine details? Thanks for the help Caine
