Here is the 75 Coronet I'm working on .
-
Missing Link Resin Casters, It's the full body with the front molded in and all the Chrome parts, Including the CORRECT stock wheel covers , They are a little over $40 plus shipping,But they are worth the money, I got 4 Copys of the kit, Because I made the master for it . Kevin is a great person and looks out for his customers , I also have one already painted "INCA GOLD" That I am making into a 75 Coronet.

Heres the 76 Fury 4-door i'm working on right now, and the Car Lot in the background are just a few I need to finish :lol:That Body is the new 76 Fury Conversion kit that I got, It comes with the Body,Grill,Headlights and correct front bumper,The back bumper is from the 77 Monaco with the taillight area cut out to put the taillights in from behind just like the real cars were 75-76 Furys and Coronets were more sunk in, The 77-78 Fury and Monaco were more flush with the back bumper .

1972 dodge pickup grille
spkgibson replied to car lover 1996's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Get the one from Modelhaus! It is TOP NOTCH QUALITY! Plus they have the all the parts to restore an old annual or back date the 78 Monster Truck to 72-76 versions! -
Contact Kevin at Missing Link for the front Bumper, Those taillights on the other hand That sounds like a scratch build project, Or if you can find a junker with those parts in good shape. I'm an oddball for some reason, I like these cars alot, and just to give you a heads up,Everything from the DOH Police car will work to make this with a bench seat, You just have to trim the tub where the front doors locate .

How do I remove paint from a model
spkgibson replied to 69chevelle's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
There is a product out there called Scale Coat paint and decal remover, It works great, and will not damage the plastic, I have been using it for years, It take off ALL types of paint, You can find it at most hobby shops and online, the price is around $11 hope this helps! -

I found most of this stuff at Deans Hobby Stop out by me, The 2 DOH police cars came from Riders Hobby Shop and Hobby Lobby That one was $2 less ,The 3 in the front are another Joker Dodge to restore ,The Red one is a 77 Monaco 2-door that my late uncle built with me when I was a kid, I almost fell over when I seen it at Deans. The other is an original 1967 Annual Mercury Comet , I payed $4 for it, If anyone has the Model King bumpers from the kit I would love to work out a deal to use to restore the Comet, The Chrome is bad on them ,And I'm unsure if it has the correct grill or if its a custom one, The ones in the new kit dont fit at all,I was hoping they would .

Jimmy STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD AND BUILD SOMETHING! The car is looking nice there Nick!
-
Doesn't everyone have the NEW HEMI Dart? use the wheel covers out of that kit! They look close to me!
-
Wow that Gremlin looks great , The Color and the wheels make that car pop out at you, I'd feel sorry for any Camaro or Firebird that came up against that car . Your builds always make me appreciate your excellent building style
-
Well I had to add a few things in the engine compartment, I added the Lean Burn System , It was made from the CB out of the kit and the fuel pump from a junker motor from the same kit, The snorkel is scratch built using a custom air cleaner and the little round part is from a prostock fuel pump from an unknown kit, These photos look alittle better.

That's an easy one to paint up the color is the 74-76 shade of B-5 Blue with the matching interior, I already have the paint for that car, I just need 1 good day to paint it up. I already have a 75 Inca Gold Coronet painted up, And ready to finish up, Oh I still need to finish the grills on it also . I'll be making that Fury very soon.
-
I Just put the air cleaner decal on last night it is from the DOH Road Runner kit, I used the 400 4 barrel one on it,Sorry about the blurry photo, I use my cell phone for my photos for now, Also the first photo is a good photo of the Front of the car.
-
I'll be making that soon enough, I already have the 75-76 Fury conversion kit from Missing Link
-
I built this from the DOH kit the only after market parts are the stock wheels from Missing Link ,The engine was a combination of the kit parts and I used the Lindberg 64 Dodge Block, I painted it the correct factory overspray , I hope everyone likes it, I had a really bad week, And this got me through it!

Wow this is a great surprise! I'll be getting one for sure!
