  1. Panel lines? Window moldings? Door frames? Kind of sounds like the old Revell Trabant kit! I'd call that a bad kit by virtue of its lack of detail and somewhat off body proportions, even though it's a relative breeze to build. (Still glad Palmer didn't design it. ) At least there is a new tooling Trabant kit, though.
  2. I've bought new kits with two sheets, an extra (or wrong) decal sheet, even one with two sets of the same tires, but never SIX instruction sheets!
  3. Sweet! I'm mostly interested in it to build a post-Apocalypse vehicle.
  4. Sweet! That does help, Mike! Funny- saw that in a Google search, but couldn't get a decent size image of it!
  5. Actually, it is not the '85, it's a '73 wagon!!!! Still would like to see one.
  6. Just wondering if anyone has any photos of this, built up or in raw kit form. Thanks!
  7. I like the classics, but I haven't really been paying much attention to the genre lately, to be honest. Kind of a 'been there, done that' thing for me.
  8. Nice! The chrome will really pop against those colors.
  9. Out here in the sticks, I've seen maybe 15 of them since they came out. Which kind of suprises me- you don't see too many $75k + rigs out around here, but they do seem to be replacing the Freightliner Columbia as the #1 'luxury rigs' in my area.
  10. Oh, it's a go- just a matter of finding the Revell/Glencoe kit now.
  11. Yeah- the way they did the sides on those headlamp bezels always bugged me, on both the AMT and Monogram kits. It's pretty easy to blend in the necessary portion, you just need to mask off that bumper/grille during the bodywork/paint phases!
  12. The Monogram grille/bumper fits pretty well- about all you need to do is put a shim under the bottom of the hood and blend it in.
  13. And plugged in the engine
  14. Forgot all about the PL version! I know I'll be picking up a few of them- mostly for Hearse and stock ambulance conversions.
  15. Okay, I admit- I did like Zombieland. And Shaun Of The Dead. But, anyway, I think George Romero has pretty much torpedoed zombies as an effective tool for horror flicks by rehashing them over and over.
  16. I'm thinking 'Blade Runner' meets 'Mad Max'. Lewd and crude, but slightly futuristic as well.
  17. Cool! Now all you've got to do is build a model of it.
  18. I like 'em all- any one of them is worthy of bench time if you ask me! I had an idea of using a Prowler as the base to a more traditional-style rod, maybe seeing this one progress will rekindle that idea.
  19. Community Build Project. Basically it is where a bunch of guys post pictures of similar builds, or models with a similar theme, all on one thread. We've got a whole sub-board here dedicated to them.
  20. It probably is a mis-identified 1:20 Fox. I'd love to see a 1:16 Fox Mustang (bonus points if it's a Notch or at least a non-GT hatch), but I've never seen one in that scale, by anyone, ever.
  21. Thanks to Geroge Romero pretty much running the 'Living Dead' thing into the ground, I'm pretty much done with zombie flicks, much less a zombie TV series. (Love to see how they keep this thing fresh and interesting past two seasons or so. ) Nah, this'll be geared more toward a realistic Apocalpse- something that can deal with degrading roads, rough terrain, and bands of heavily-armed scavengers.
  22. Closest Meijer to me did not carry them last year- don't think I'm gonna bother checking this year.
  23. Got the interior started in mine.
  24. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Like that pic, Justin... looks like its about to launch over the pyramid!
