The kit takes to some detailing very nicely, otherwise, that weird hood issue has cropped up. The first kit I bought was 10 years ago, and it was present then, although not as bad as the most recent issue. The issues I purchased last year have the same hood warping, but it's more pronounced now. Could be that part of the mold is simply showing it's age because the first release was, I think, in the late 80's.

Very nice build, the color looks spot on. I've built 3 of these and each one had the same hood issue. The hood itself is actually warped out of the box. At least it was in all three kits I built.
