Ben, Your weathering looks great! I am not sure about the vette either, although, most were fiberglass. Your gravel looks a bit big, have you considered cat litter? It works for 1/24-25, but not sure how it would look with 1/18. The gravel you're using looks more like small boulders or riprap. Overall, it's a nice setup, nice details.

This is looking great. Looking forward to more. I have the same one, picked up at Hobby Town in Kennesaw. I'll never buy one there again though, my 12 x 18 cost more than the 18 x 24 at Hobby Lobby.

From what I've read elsewhere on this forum, the fog reacts to body oils on the kit/parts and if you wear gloves, they will block the deposit of body oils onto the parts thereby eliminate the fogging. Les

Chris, You can put just about any pic as your avatar as long as it is within the size limits. At the top of the page, you'll find "My Controls". Select that and browse the menu on the left under Personal Profile. Select "edit avatar settings". There you'll be able to "hook it up". Les

I thought the Prowler was rather cool, with the exception of those bumpers and the V6. It took alot off b@*%! to market that in this day....or that day. At least they weren't afraid to take a chance. New one underway. This is a Pete 377. I'll say fleet because it is going to be a match to the 378 paint scheme though no company names on the truck. I may add them later, but don't have 'em right now. It has another scratchbuilt headache rack as well as lift axle. The front tires will be changed out with the same floats as on the lift axle. Engine is wired and plumbed a little more than the 378 was though not doing the chassis. Here are some pics. The clips are holding the lift axle in place for the pics. Maybe I should leave them for hauling logs in slow times. Les

Is it me or does the transaxle look a wee bit off? Either way, you might take a drill bit the same size as the hole the axle runs through and use it like a saw. With light pressure towards the left rear, run it back and forth in the hole. This will oblong the hole a little and allow the axle to relax to the rear moving the left tire/wheel back. Just a thought. Les

At least being on the left, you know how far you are from the pump. Next time, try a little experiment. When you pull in, stop a little further away from the pump. The hoses have enough reach,you can probably get 6 - 8 feet between the car and the pump. Your door isn't that long is it? The worst thing is having to get back in and move it, just like if it were on the right. Plus, you don't risk opening your door in the path of another car. Les
