  2. Here is the stern along withe large rudder and preventer chain.the chain limits how far the rudder can be deflected in a storm thus preventing its loss in a storm.

  7. Yes my whitewalls were chipped too,I just put the circle template around it and sprayed Tamiya flat white.No problem!

  10. What I did with my Thermopylae as to mount the foremast,tie the ratlines,put on the standing rigging and shrouds and then tied the sails to the yards off of the model.Then I mounted the yards up then did the running rigging.

  14. Gold can be funny that way.Color can shift due to source of light(natural vs florescent vs incandescent) and angle of view.
