    Here is the stern along withe large rudder and preventer chain.the chain limits how far the rudder can be deflected in a storm thus preventing its loss in a storm.

    Yes my whitewalls were chipped too,I just put the circle template around it and sprayed Tamiya flat white.No problem!

    What I did with my Thermopylae as to mount the foremast,tie the ratlines,put on the standing rigging and shrouds and then tied the sails to the yards off of the model.Then I mounted the yards up then did the running rigging.

    Gold can be funny that way.Color can shift due to source of light(natural vs florescent vs incandescent) and angle of view.
