You should be proud of this build Tyrone, I think it's one of your best, the paint job came out great! -
The build is looking pretty darn good Ted, The detailing is top notch. Looking forward to see more.

Darryl, I was just looking thru the pics again & I noticed something I didn't really pay much attention to the first time, it has to do with the fuel cell, is (was) that one of the computer boxes out of one of the Revell Funny Car models? -
Looks good Clay, waiting for more!

Thanks Rom, I did a little work on her yesterday, repainted the valve covers & the rear wheels I have in Tamyia Brillant Blue (go with the new paint scheme a little better), carbon fibered the wheels last night (not easy!LOL!,clear carbon fiber decals, I'll do the valve covers today), so far today I just printed up a few pics for the hood, passenger side & drivers side of the car, in different sizes to get the correct size for the car before I print up my decals, the pics are going to tell the story going from the hood-to-passenger side-to-drivers side, now I'm getting ready to start scratch-building the fuel pump, fuel regulators& the fuel/nitrous solonoids. The Nova & Comet are going to be 2 of my Witches Trilogy, the Nova is going to be the "Mind Witch" & the Comet is going to be the "White Witch", still have to decide on a "Black Witch" car. I'll be [posting some more pics soon.

Some great video Keith, didn't know it was a "short"wheel-base car, 119" eh, always thought that the 'Cuda was the first Army car, I know that he had the "Cuda,Vega,Monza & the Arrow, but could have sworn that the '73-'74 'Cuda (after the Carefree sponsorship) was the very first Army car. -

The fuel pump & the fuel cell both look great Tyrone, I agree, I wish I had stocked up on a bunch of stuff from TEM. Thanks for the kind words on what I got done so far on my builds, using Thumpers & your builds as motivation, I changed my idea (I do that alot, 1 of the reasons I can't seem to get anything done! LOL!). on the Nova, don't think it's going to be a "yenko" anymore, going to give it a different paint/graphic treatment, so I don't think the Yenko stripes will work with it. -

Flashpoint 1968 Firebird Pro Mod
Dragracer replied to kustoms4lyfe2's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Your build sounds good Kris, listen to Rob (thumper86), when it comes to chassis building there is none better. The Ross Gibson engines are the way to go, some of the best P/M-P/S stuff out there, trying to decide which type of engine to put together is hard (along with deciding on a paint job, that is where I keep getting hung-up, must have about 2-3 different color schemes for my Nova build, keeping going back & forth), how is the Flashpoint Firebird body?, I plan on getting one of those soon, I ordered the Firebird body from TEM just before Chris closed up shop, won't be getting it now so I'll get the Flashpoint one. -

Like the choice of pedals Chris, car is looking good, as everyone else says : time to put some paint there! -
I had ordered some bolts & such from R.B. Motion awhile back for these 2 builds & as with all the stuff from R.B. Motion it all looks good. The problem was that for certain parts I needed screws, so I checked out Scale Hardware, they now also carry parts from Tuner Model Manufactory, & guess what!, they have screws!, ordered a set of 0.6-1.4 mm common screws & 2 sets of 0.6 mm Philips head screws, ordered them on Tuesday & got them yesterday, now thats quick & they are great!
