Hey Jim, I've noticed that U'r title is Australian U.S. Mack Superliner but wot confuses me is, is it a U.S. Superliner or an Australian one the reason I ask is coz most of our superliners had spider rims not alloys and where nearly all loggers that I can see, if it's a U.S. one man U'r doing one heck of a great job, heck doesn't matter either way Aussie or Yank it's one fantastic rig so far. After a long break I have returned and I hope I am not banned from this forum like I have been from others due to some of my cardstock (paper) models sneaking in, I do plastic and have some great cars as well as trucks but haven't been all that busy due to my wifes illness and the fact that we are fighting the medical board over her medication. I have finally finished this car after angonising over whether to do this or not and with the Chrysler Turbine kit being a complete wreck (thanks to the post office) I decided to put the trubine motor into my radically changed '69 Charger Daytona, I hope you like wot I've done, my wife thinks it's neat and different from all the V8 powered Dodge chargers out there. The pipes sort of give it away. It does look sort of good in there. The boot lid opens but the boot is not detailed maybe at a later stage yet again. I do plan to buy another Charger Daytona and build the kit model right next time, I did this as a project and of course a wy of ridding me of that motor from a destroyed kit. Oh by the way I'll never do another model in black again man what an awful colour to work with. Dingo

my oldest sister is the only one of us siblings that have done jury duty, must be the fact that the rest of us have small time criminal records and speeding finds, my brother is the small time crim my other sis & I are the speeders even though she doesn't really drive a car she got caught when the vehicle she was sitting in ran away without a driver and she climbed into the drivers seat to try and stop it but didn't succeed crashed into 4 other cars parked on the roadside, lousy mungrels booked for reckless endangerment and exceed the speed limit in a school crossing, I got done for 114kph in a 100 zone on our local one way road even telling the cop I needed the toilet didn't get me off rotten mungrel again. I am building this rig in memory of an old friend of whom I have know idea of whether he's is alive or has passed on, I haven't heard from this friend for at least 20 years but I do remember his rig quite well so here is my start on his old rig. The rig will have a Double Eagle sleeper and not the Hi-Rise shown here. I can remeber driving this rig back in the 70's when I had the license to cover it and I drove it when ever my dear friend needed a break or a holiday which was a bt funny as I did the driving during my work holidays. These arrived from the States two days ago and already I have started a couple of them. The trailer has been cut down and will be done as a replica of a mates steel carrier, the 41 Woody will get a lot of aftermarket stuff in it but that won't happen til 2010 when money is on top again, one of the Nomads will be done as a street machine trailer Queen for behind the '41 Woody and the camper and the other Nomad I don't know as yet wot to do with 'em. New projects for 2010. Dingo

Art Anderson, U are right if you don't like the cheating that goes on in some of the shows Y go. I remember back in 1996 I think I went to a model contect here in my home tiwn of Adelaide I thought I was a shoe in for a trophy as there aren't many truck buildes in this here town and I had this mis-concieved idea that wow man I've got a trophy for sure, well I was wrong a hobby shop owner turned up with a radio controlled B-Double tanker model that was so big it took up nearly all the table space and because of it's size U guessed it, it won. Well I can tell U anothe thing thing about that truck and it's owner first the truck it was built by another guy who speciallizes in radio controlled truck builds and the shop owner well he couldn't build his way aout of a wet paper bag if he tried BUT he won and won convincingly at that, when I told the organisors they said man who cares we don't and I said simple if U'r going to be like that I'll never enter this crooked comp again and I never have and it's the only comp we have in this here little town, the next nearest comp is an 8 hour drive away and I ain't dong that for no plastic car or truck no matter how goood it is, but hey each to their own and if they cheat and get away with it then it's on their mind forever as a cheater if they think that way otherwise it's just another case of chicken ###### and who cares. Jordan thanks for the photo of the wied camper funny thing is that today (Thurs 29th Oct) I went to my local newsagent to pick up my copy of the SAE Mag and bingo there it is right in the NNL East 23 write-up so my wife got to see it without ging on this sill laptop of mine, she thinks it's the stupidist thing someone has ever built on any of the forums that I'm on but hey as she says "each to their own and it takes what U fancy", I think the guy who built it is like me very brave to do odd builds and I like it because it's odd. I am looking for a photo of a camper to show my wife as she doesn't belive me that it's exsist so I need U'r help, this camper has a dodge charger up front and appeared on a forum which I thought was this one but I ca't find it here so Ihave no idea now where it is, can some one even the owner of this model please help me. We joined a church of god mob in 2005 and back then they said there was only 2 &1/2 yrs to go beofre jesus would return and rule the earth for a 1,000yrs here it is 2009 just on 4 yrs after that event was to happen and nothing, we have since been kicked out of that church for asking when it was going to really happen. We have now been told by people who R friends with us secretly that the big wig of the church has now puched jesus eeturn out by 10 yrs so 2012 has no meaning at all to anyone it's just another crazy date set by people who wants to stir up s#@* and hope that others will go mad praying and hoping IT doesn't happen what ever IT is. THis is one rig that I've been working on for some time as it start out as 24 A4 sheets of cardstock and took around a week to print of, not because the printer is slow but because I had to wait for my wife to print of a gun club newsletter and I printed this rig between the print out of the newsletter. Mr. Mopar if the rig U are talkning is the one I'm thinking of the fresh air intake from the air filter goes across to the right hamd side of the bonnet where there is a fresh air intake scoop this scoop covers a hole in the bonnet, so when the vehicle is moving the air is rammed into the pipe that carries it to the air filter, the only suggestion I can make if you don't understand this is, if you can get to a truck yard that sells Western Stars and check out this model or do a search on the net like I do it make take a little longer but somewhere along the way U'll find a photo of one. I use a Passche VLS for no other reason than my wife bought it for me just recently so I have no choice but touse it. Dingo

Well here in Australia they have just introduced a law where you can no longer lift your 4x4 body 2 inches and also do a 2 inch lift on the suspension, it's either one or the other and I tend to agree some of the lifts are getting beyond the joke. There is a Lancruiser around the corner from where I live in my home town and I recond the guy uses a ladder to get into the thing, it must be at least 8 inches above standard I mean it so high of the ground that the rock slider rails are lavel with the bottom of the sill panels or maybe even above them plus I was walking past it the other day and I could easily see the exhaust coming out of the engine bay to the cat box and travel down to it 2 sports mufllers it was all chromed. Some mod on cars are absolutely stupid dangerous and crazy and should be outlawed other mods that are outlawed well it makes you wonder what the law makers are thinking or even smoking when they outlaw them.
