The two versions First Gear is making now are Ford Tractor Parts and Allis-Chalmers Tractor Parts so a lot of tractor dealerships that sell diecast would be getting them , I'm sure after awhile they will come in a lot of different versions and the price will come down . I joined the First Gear site and buy direct from them . This is a picture I found on Google that is just about how I would like a 1:1 The paint is HoK (House of Krylon) Sea Glass/Satin with a few light coats of Krylon clear the tires /wheels that are going on it

What did you see on the road today?

Saw this 1945-47 Ford panel truck tonight at Culvers -
I've tried the 'Ultra Chrome' and didn't like it too much , same goes for the 'Gold Chrome' and the 'Black Chrome' . I like the regular chrome just fine though . It helps to keep it stored in a dark cool place , my wife came up with this for me- she just cut the end off of a manilla envelope and taped it to the inside of the fridge , it stays fresh and out of the way.

Never cared for the TV show but am glad they made a kit of the star of the show--> -
We spent the holiday weekend at the lake, camping ,fishing and riding our bicycles. It 'pleased' me for a few days and made my wife really 'pleased' too.

That's great news , I'll be getting a few of these. The originals are going for crazy prices. I got one in a trade a few years ago and paid dearly. I had a 1971 CT175 when I was a kid , found a picture of one on line when I was building a replica of my bike. One of the cool things about these bikes is that any size between a 125/175/250cc all looked about the same except the color.

My wifes friend said that she was going home to un-thaw some hamburger for dinner , I asked if they ate frozen hamburger often ? She replied NO that's why I'm un-thawing it !

During the week my wife stops at a local gas station chain to pick up bread, milk, soda pop and cigarettes instead of the grocery store that is a lot farther away from home. This chain of stations -Wesco- gives reward points for such items on a rewards card towards the price per gallon , 20 gallon limit 59.9 a gallon

Polish Soul Food Not many reasons to go to Detroilet anymore , Paczki is one . Dogs are not allowed in Hamtramck because they pee on the poles..... -
I was able to pick up a couple of these trucks from Speedway , mostly for the goodies in the box , took the case box flipped it up side down because of the way its tapered , sanded the top off made the lid from .040 Evergreen stock then added a set of handles from the WW II Jeep to make a cooler out of it Then fab'd a water cooler from Evergreen stock for the water jugs

I have a dog in this fight-Ron is my friend , I called him Christmas night and found him in the hospital...again , besides loosing his pinky finger last summer , it also damaged his ring finger . Then there have been a few skin grafts . He's had hundreds of hours of physical therapy . To say Ron had a bad year is an understatement . I know Ron is not a liar or a thief-but most important-I know he's not a quitter ! I have it on good authority that he wants to finish this project more than you guys want it done . To ask him to explain or to apologize is asking a lot . is up to him ,

Just wanted to quote this incase some one came along and edited it. Nowhere did I read that this build is over -so saying it's the third time you've seen them end this way is not accurate. I've been following along this build from the start also . Ron hasn't vanished nor has the kit that Casey (the guy who told you where to go) donated . You're right about voicing our own opinion -this is mine .
