  1. Great pica of a great model. Always nice to have a good camera.
  2. Thata s a nice build of that kit. The colour really sets it off. Normally wheels of that style don't look good on jacked up cars but they actually work really well. Great workmanship.
  3. Very nice work. Shame it 'aint real. Nothing like a 427 "Biscuit" to catch the unwary at the lights.
  4. Nice work. Love what you did with the wheels. Really sets it off.
  5. This is amazing stuff Mike. My Dad has fooled around with brass rollcages before, but not me. Keep up the good work.
  6. Have some more work done. The roll cage is primered as is some of the interior. I've done the dash in satin black. I've mocked up the chassis and all suspension with the interior and glass and set the ride height. Alot of the work in this kit is done for you. All the Aoshima RX7's(FC and FD) that use Fujimi style wheels have a narrower rear axle and a different stub for the front axle so that the wheel backs fit in without increasing the track.Anyone whose tried to put Fujimi wheels onto Aoshima kits will have had this drama. Since this pic was taken I've plugged the holes for the rear view mirrors and drilled new ones on the guards for JDM style set up. This image shows the standard and narrow rear axles. If you look closely you can see where I filed off the mounts for the chassis. Easiest way to lower the back. Heres a pic of the extra parts. The parts on the left are the narrow parts and the ones on the right are the original parts. The narrow discs have a recess for the Fujimi wheel back instead of a raised hat. I've also filed off the calipers on the front to accomodate a Fujimi Brembo disc. The front stub on the left is the one that fits the Fujimi style wheel.
  7. Thats a really nice model.
  8. The C-West kit I sold off as all I wanted was the lights. The green one was a rubbish kit anyway so it became a parts donor. Swany,I modified the Fujimi wheels by cutting out the receivers for the polycap and fitted pins like the Tamiya and most Aoshima wheels have. I'm building another one for the drift car challenge and next time I post some WIP I'll detail some other tricks there. Also if you buy certain versions of the Aoshima RX7's the jobs 3/4's done.
  9. 3 weeks! Where do you get time to build a model in three weeks! Great work mate. Nice paint.

  16. Nice conversion. Well done. Looks like I could take it out and drive it.
  17. Hi,fairly new here and havn't posted a finished model until now. Couldn't decide and my tastes are quite varied,so I'll post up several different ones over the next few weeks. On with the show. I used the three kits above to build this one Combined this kit with Fujimi's RE Amemiya RX7 and Aoshima's C-West kit to make one model.I grafted in the bonnet from the Fujimi kit as well as using the seats and the JGTC style rear wing. The RE Amemiya AW7 wheels are made seperate by Fujimi in their wheel packs. The headlamps are from the Aoshima C-West RX7.The colour is custom made orange pearl in Glasurit 2PAK COB.I tinted the tail light panel with Tamiya smoke. The bonnet, rear wing and mirrors are painted in Tamiya gunmetal.I added a white faced tacho to the top of the steering column. The intercooler is made from Evergreen raiload ribbed plastic and flat plastic sheet.
  18. Nice colour combo. Nice technique you have there.
  19. Very, very nice. Great carbon fibre work!
  20. "whoops" Nice model mate!
  21. Sweeeeet!
  22. Nice work mate. Thats nice simple kit to build that one. Always looks good when finished.
  23. That Shelby is coming along nicely. The wing on the Honda is awesome!
  24. Thanks! I got the Meister S1's from the Aoshima Team Samurai FC3S drift RX7. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10049260
