  1. In the Daytona is different. The gas tank goes on the frame that is attached to the chassis. You can see the gas tank from under the car.

  3. Thank you Greg! Here the Bug painted The wings
  4. Rear differential painted and weathered. Sorry for the dark picture.
  5. Weird, from the reference picture I have, it seems more a gas tank than a trunk floor and is in silver color.
  6. Painted the engine\transmission and gas tank.

  11. It is time to finish it... Thanks Bruce! I don't know what happened, but the link are all broken, I will replace them with working one.
  12. Looks good, and is a beautiful kit too.
  13. There is a resin company that make the front grille and bumpers, to convert the Revell kit into a Gladiator. A friend gave me one, I don't know if is made from the same company or what, but I molded and copied in resin for projects.

  16. For what I remember from an old article on a European car magazine that was talking about die-cast, the 1/24 was used in Europe and 1/25 in USA.The article were saying that they wanted a specific scale back then for different reason, one was production cost, and selling cost. Also they wanted a scale (1/24) that almost any kid or adult can enjoy. THe 1/24 scale was a big hit in the middle of the 70's when Bburago started to make toys model cars, after adding the 1/43 and 1/18 and kit etc...
  17. Start to work on the interior. Here after attaching the photo etched part with the center console.
